What type of student is this program for? Do you know how the linkage turned out this year?
this program is for anyone who is willing to work their ass off or change study techniques if it isn't working out for them. as someone who has had to do both of these things, i have come out a much stronger student.
again, we don't know the exact statistics but at least 30+ people from our cohort have received our conditional acceptance. it's important to note that we still have to maintain As and Bs in the program otherwise, the acceptance will be rescinded (it has happened in the past). We started out the school year with at least 85 people, but I think now we are down to 65ish (people dropped out after being accepted to other MD/DO schools or having received an overall C grade in one of the courses).

Do you know anyone that has got all A’s and B’s but did not get accepted in CMS?

Yes. i know of a few people. but again it's more than just the grades. It's the interview, your amcas app, etc.
Exactly my point. If you are paying 60k for a program, then decisions should solely be based on your performance in the program. The reason people do these programs is to separate themselves from the ug gpa and mcat.

I mean, the program says from the get go that you're guaranteed an interview and not admission. Almost every SMP works like that. Perhaps you think that's an unfair deal, but it's not like the BMS program is unique in that regard. Would you say that someone who bombed their interview despite all As in their classes deserves an acceptance? I wouldn't.

couldn't have said it better myself

Do you think the linkage will end up around 60% like in years past? What do you think is more important undergrad grades and MCAT or BMS grades and interview? Would someone with a low undergrad gpa and MCAT have a shot if they performed well in the program?

Hey guys, I hope you are all doing well. I was thinking to apply to the BMS Program as one of the masters programs I am applying to become more competitive for dental school. Do you guys think that this program will be effective and make me more competitive for dental school? Or is it not the best for someone trying to get into dental school? Thank you!
