Roseman University Class of 2028* Interview/Acceptance Thread

I did my Kira assessment last week, does school notify you when Kira is received?

After the interview vaccination requirements for enrollment were provided. Is that standard for all interviewees and most schools?

in my experience it was after receiving acceptance offer and that was found in the acceptance packet as a requirement for enrollment. However, probably nice to have this info early as sometimes if a candidate doesn't have the vaccines, you have to get them redone and some vaccine series can take 6-9 months to be completed.

I'd say every school probably has similar requirements, so now wouldn't be a bad time to go over those vaccines and make sure you're up to date with them. You will need to provide a list of those wherever you go.

Has anyone who applied in July/August still have not receive a Kira invite?

Does any current Roseman student know if there are any interviews scheduled for early November? Also, has the school sent out invitations for November interviews yet, or have they already been completed?

Hi I just got an email about an in person interview with Roseman! Options were for november 1st or november 8th

It went well! I was extremely impressed with everything the whole day. My best advice is to practice the questions they send in an email (they will ask you those same exact questions) and to know your application. The convo flowed really well for me on things beyond my app and beyond the questions so just come in ready to talk about all things you! Otherwise be ready to socialize with many other candidates and have many questions ready for the current students since there is a whole Q&A portion. Be yourself and it’ll go great

Does anyone know how many people apply vs interview at this school? I was shocked to see 50+ students at my interview yesterday... and to add they have two sessions (AM/PM) that's 100 students being interviewed every week...
dang wtf... makes me feel like I have no chance of getting in. My interview is in November too. Do you mind sharing how your experience was otherwise?

I was shocked too. Definitely the biggest interview pool I have been apart of

I believe they are increasing the class number since they will start sending students to the Las Vegas campus

yeah I felt the same way!! and everyone felt so good at the interview because it is so chill, they tell you the questions ahead of time and it's a lot of team bonding. I am not sure how they end up picking who gets in because even with so many people at the interview, everyone feels great about getting in.
My advice would be to just try to be as active as you can and engage with questions because we were able to talk to 6+ presenters/faculty plus so many dental students. It's the best way to make your mark on such a big group. Also really take your time to get the to know the city if you can and that'll be a good connection you can make during conversations too!! I would say for your interview, try to throw in some fun facts or cool things you've done that will really help them remember you when time comes for them to make evaluations. Of course these are all things you should do for every interview, but just wanted to emphasize since at this one you really have to make your mark between so many applicants.

Yeah they have increased it to 176 (40 to nevada after 1st year) but still that would leave 136 here and I have interviewed at other schools that have ~140 seats and they all only interview like 15 applicants max a week..... The amount of people who must be getting interviewed at Roseman is total 6 times that amount...

Honestly with this being said I’m still shocked how they ghosted me😂 I have like a bunch of other schools that sent me first round invites and Roseman was just like, nope 😂 their loss bye lol

no it's not... that's only applied vs matriculated... i wanna know how many interview vs get accepted overall.

I am not sure how much it matters to ask questions during the presentations. They can't see your name tag especially if you're sitting across the room. During my day, I noticed nearly half of the questions were asked by the same few people sitting near me--which was furthest from the "adcoms." That's just my opinion though!

Unfortunately that was 2024... so much has changed for Roseman since then. They turned into a 3yr program, huge increase in apps and increased the class size by 50 so this isn't accurate enough for the current cycle.

It seems like Roseman sent out some invites for Nov interview last week (Oct 7-11). Does anyone know or receive any interview invite this week? wonder if they have done sending out invite for November interview...

A little bit unrelated.. I recently took my DAT exam few weeks ago. My official DAT score was verified and posted on ADA website. Does anyone know how long it may take for ADA to send the official score to AADSAS and how long does it take for AADSAS to get it posted/uploaded? The website says it could take to 3-4 weeks, but for your case, how long did it take yours? How long should I wait before starting calling ADA or AADSAS? I have been constantly checking my email and application status, sadly 🙁
It took 3.5 weeks for everything to be fully posted for me. Even after it was posted on ADA website, it took another 2-3 days for Dental schools to be able to see that they had received it.

I applied to Roseman a little bit late and only got my Kira confirm by end of September. Anyone has received any word or invite for interview recently?

Did anyone apply in July but never received a Kira invite?...I'm a re-applicant to the school too.

I'm pretty sure everyone gets KIRA as long as they meet the minimum requirements. Maybe double-check if you met them or not. ex) need 3.0gpa for last 30 science credits.

Anyone else get an email about changing cohort location? I wonder if it is for everyone or just some interviewees?
