Has anyone who is going to the EDP interview filled out the assessment yet? If so, what's it like?

How long did it take you guys to complete PharmCas and the whole application for Roseman? I want to do it, but won't have time to start until October. Will that give me enough time? Please let me know. Also anybody have a step by step guide for the application process? I never applied to any colleges/universities before except for community college, and that was only registering. Please let me know. Thanks

You'll need to check PCAT testing centers for upcoming dates and register. The application process for PharmCAS isn't bad but I believe it really depends on how soon you can get your transcripts into them and have your personal statement written. I think starting in October isn't bad but you might wanna start getting some things started now, or atleast start scheduling some time to set aside for it. For me, it was more about taking care of things in any way I could whenever I had spare time. So plan on chipping away at all the things you need to, now.

What do you mean chipping all the things I need to do now? What should I work on with my spare time?

Working on supplemental app, entering grades, education history, EC's, etc. into PharmCAS. There are quite a lot of things to do. I found it best to take care of things when ever I had time rather than trying to knock everything out in one day. For starters, you might wanna register with PharmCAS now so you can get an idea of what's in store for you.

It's a process so do your research now.

That assessment was brutal. It made me feel pretty stupid. How'd you guys do?

What's th assessment for? Is it only for ED applicants?

A link to the assessment was included in the interview invitation. There is no indication that it is just for EDP applicants. They said the results do not affect your application status, but it was still stressful. It was word scrambles, pattern identification, and small calculations all racing against a clock that is not intended to give the average person enough time to answer the questions.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, that does sound brutal :/

Where are you staying? I'm driving in on Oct 5th and leaving on the 7th. I'll be at the sunset station. I'm nervous for the interview, but excited for the little bit of time off work and school.

I copied all the questions listed on SDN and I am going to prepare experiences and answers in advance. Hopefully nothing will catch me too off guard.

The ones I copied were specifically from roseman in previous years. I weeded out all the duplicates. I can send you the word doc if you PM me your email address.

Hello
I am also going to attend interview on October 6. Hows your preparation for interview?

I selected UT campus but for preparation am not still so confident. I am afraid how to deal for unfamiliar questions.

I'm getting super nervous! Do those of you interviewing on Monday feel ready?

Is anybody else a general admission applicant like me?

I'm really curious as to when we should be expecting to hear about interview invites.

I'm a general admission applicant also and from what i've heard interview starts in December? This is from a P1. Idk if it's true or not because i thought it starts somewhere in November.

I'll call them sometime this week and post what I learn.

Good luck everyone 🙂 don't stress out about the interview. People here are pretty friendly.

Also, know how to answer, why Roseman? 🙂

How was it? Can you give us a breakdown of your day?

Arrived 3 minutes late for check in due to the fact that I first parked and roamed the dental college. Oops! No worries though. Sat down and chatted in the student Commons with other potential applicants. A few minutes later we went in to the p1 classroom for interview orientation where we learned a little about the curriculum, financial aid, and the dual MBA program. Then back to the student Commons to chat with some p1s. My interview wasn't until 3:30. Then Dr. Oswald led me back to her office where I interviewed for about 20-25 minutes with her and a p1. Very friendly... I unfortubately, no questions came from SDN, so I wasn't as prepared as I hoped. They made the situation as comfortable as possible. I feel it went pretty well. Then back to the student Commons where they then called a few of us at a time to go on a campus tour with a p1. Then it was over!

Hey every one how was the interview? Student who appeared for interview today would you guys mind to share the questions?

Were those new questions are tough which really need you to be prepared? could you please share those?

i dont think it would be fair for the others if we were to tell you what questions they exactly asked. Just be yourself . They want you to feel comfortable anyway
