- Open to practicing anywhere after DS
- Block schedule
- P/F grading
- No internal specialty residency programs --> can handle harder cases = more clinical experience
- Similar tuition…altho. ASDOH’s fees breakdown seems ambiguous & outdated? (if anyone has more specifics on this, please let me know!)
- Affordable COL

- Individual and team assessments – very team oriented
- 4 day weekends if you pass exams
- Utah is a really beautiful state with lots of outdoor activities
- I prefer the cold
- Hearing very mixed reviews from students’ experiences
- Class of 2026 will become a 3-year program, not sure how their D3 will conflict with my D4 year
Pros:
- External rotation sites in D4
- Public health + community focus
- More affordable housing options for studios/1BR (starts at ~$800 vs. $1k in UT)
