I also interviewed the 9th at 3pm and I got my decision in the mail on Monday. I am IS so that could be why I got mine so soon!

yeah, that makes sense, theres a lot of IS decisions showing up! Im OOS and was in the 1 PM (but there was an issue and we had to redo the 4th station at 4:30 due to no interviewer)

That sounds so stressful! Was it weird coming back to redo the station or did they make it easy?

They were okay with communication, but it was definitely annoying having to redo it 3 hours later. I was so freaked out when there was no interviewer 😭 💀 They made it relatively easy though, no showing the ID again, kept the same login situation.

No, but it told me which quartile for non resident waitlist I am in. There are 4 non resident pools. I am not sure for residents though.
 
just got oos rejection in the mail, small standard sized letter envelope. i interviewed 3/2. had some technical difficulties and a couple of awkward interviewers :/ good luck to everyone!

Just wanted to take a minute and just say I’m thinking of everyone. Celebrating the acceptances, keeping fingers crossed for waitlists and sitting with you and feeling those rejections. I myself have been inconsolable all day waiting for my letter, I can imagine many are feeling the same. We all worked so hard to be here.

I’m so sorry! I had a major meltdown right before it started because it wouldn’t let the camera connect. Then had to switch computers and didn’t realize it had a camera block. Sobbed right until it started at 11:15. Then had to refresh before answering because they couldn’t see or hear me. The technical difficulties in no way reflect how capable of a doctor you will be!

it did i have been accepted to start in august, just thinking of moving down there is so intimidating and the thought of bringing my cat upsets me i dont wanna stress her out haha but sgu here i come

Listen to me. These rejections are NOT intended to make you stop trying. There is absolutely no way they mean that you're not meant to be a doctor. I understand how hopeless this feels, but you must pick yourself up, review your applications from this past cycle, ask questions to the schools you applied to on how you can strengthen your potential for getting in, and refine your application for the next cycle. The veterinary world NEEDS you. Don't give up. Use this experience to fuel yourself moving forward. However, you must also allow yourself to grieve first. It hurts, I know. Don't ignore those feelings. Use them as a reminder of how badly you want this. Anyone with like passion like that is destined to get that white coat. You've got this.

IS rejection. I am in disbelief. I have taken most of my rejections really well, but this one really stings. I am beyond grateful that I have been accepted to SGU, however I was feeling really hopeful for Rowan. I really wanted this and sometimes it just feels like I put in so much work for it to go unnoticed. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted, I wish you all the best
 
Are people getting access to their portal? Everytime I put in my pin, it just doesn’t load. But Im on my phone
 
I’m sitting here looking out of my window every 5 min to see if the usps driver has gotten here yet.
 
IS rejection. I’ve been rejected from almost all the schools I applied to this cycle. This was it for me. Stung a lot more than the others. Sucks to not even be waitlisted. I thought the interview went so well.

It’s okay I cried in my Minnesota interview 🤣🤣
 
I’m in the Midwest, so I’m sure mail will get to me at least a day later than the NJ/PA folks. But ☝️ that won’t stop me running to the mailbox as soon as I get home every day until then!
Congratulations to everyone accepted so far! I’m so sorry to hear about the rejections; that just sucks and there’s no way to make it not suck. Best of luck to everyone waitlisted so far. I can’t wait to join one of the three groups 😬
