since we're all doing essays for secondaries right now, i thought it might be helpful to list places where we can see some sample essays for various topics. here are the places i know: accepted.com and essayedge.com have some examples. also, i remember a friend telling me about this book of 50 actual med school essays (i forgot the name of the book). if anyone else knows where we could look at essays, please post. i figure its a good way to start getting ideas...
the book is "Medical School Admissions: the insider's guide" by zebala, jones and jones (mustang publishing, 2000). it contains 50 personal statements writen by matriculants. It's a pretty good book in general, but some of the info should be taken with a grain of salt.
