Looking for some general advice on creating a school list. I am a 26-year-old Texas resident with a 511 and retake 517 MCAT, 3.53 GPA, and a really... unideal 3.12 BCPM. Have since taken 3 courses via UCSD's extension program (that's 10 new credit hours of As) due to financial and full-time employment constraints and being unable to do a full post-bacc. I am struggling to narrow down both a DO and MD school lists, as my GPA is low, but my MCAT is fine. I have plenty of clinical hours from 3 years of full-time paramedic experience and decent research hours from undergraduate and 1 post-grad year of lab work. This will be my 3rd time and likely last time applying, so I wanted to see if anyone has guidance on this?

Apply to all your TMDSAS MD and DO schools. For AMCAS schools I suggest these:
TCU
Tulane
Roseman
Alice Walton
Belmont
Methodist
Brigham Young (when it opens)
You are competitive for all DO schools and I suggest these:
UIWSOM
AZCOM
TUNCOM
CCOM
ATSU-KCOM
KCU-COM
DMU-COM
OSU-COM
VCOM (all schools)
CUSOM
PCOM
NYITCOM
Touro-NY

Did you apply Texas- only on your other application cycles?
I think you should apply TMDSAS plus AACOMAS this time.
I am applying Texas this year as I qualify as a resident. Have not done AACOMAS before but am totally open. Any good advice on screening DO schools?

@Faha made a good list for you of some of the most well performing DO schools.

You can also look at the COCA list and start by looking at the schools rated "Accredited with Exceptional Outcome" (list attached).
Finally, the VCOM schools like Texas applicants and if accepted to any VCOM branch you will be allowed to pay in-state tuition there.
