I am putting together my school list and really want to hear some advice on making a balanced application cycle. I feel that the schools are very top heavy. I included the latest data i could find on the schools

im also trying to keep the debt down as much as possible so heavily looking into texas and CA schools

MCAT: 516 latest AAMC FL2, 513 AAMC FL1, Waiting on 5/18 test day scores
GPA: 3.86 sGPA, 3.857 cGPA
ECs: Eagle Scout, Philanthropy President, Executive board Honors Society
Research: 2 separate research labs one primary research and clinical
Shadowing/Clinical: 3 MDs for 200 hours total, 50 hours ER Volunteer
Good LOR and committee letter through the school

Texas Resident, looking heavily into California schools too as i grew up in california and graduated from a CA High school.
