So it's two days after June 15, I only have one secondary invite. How about you guys?
 
I have exactly 0.0 secondaries so far.
 
I have none either, nor have I gotten any "we got your primary" emails. My guess is that the schools are waiting for the MCATs to (finally) be linked.
 
I have 0 secondary applications as well. I also haven't received any "we got your primary" e-mails.

My primary was verified in late May, so far only one school send me the secondary and one school send me an email saying they will process secondary starting July 15th. I also checked NYIT's website and they say their application will open July 15th this year

I literally called every school on my list.

None of them have started downloading applications. Thats 18 schools that havent even started downloading and wont start until 1-2 weeks from now.
 
I was verified the first week of June. I applied to Marian, but I haven't received an email like some other people. That is a little unsettling. My gpa was calculated correctly though and I'm submitting my LOR's through Interfolio so that is two headaches I have avoided.

AACOMAS really dropped the ball hard with this new app.

That's good news. Although we lost the advantage we had by submitting super early...🙁

So much this man, they really excited us all and in the end the application blows. Seems alot like obamacares website launch :cigar:. I mean what was the point of being verified so early and really husslin down if they are still doing everything slow and behind.

Guys calm down..it's still early and most schools haven't downloaded primaries yet. Last year I got secondaries as early as July to as late as December (I was verified by mid June).
 
Yeah...everyone needs to keep their panties on. No reason to panic! The cycle is a marathon, not a race. If interview invites aren't handed out until end of August, then that means there is PLENTY of time.
 
I got zero. But I was just verified today. LOL

I still wonder which school send OP invitation though ....😕

I bet its like 1 random school that decided to download their primaries now.

Update: So apparently I got emailed a secondary about 40 mins ago. Its from CCOM guys.

But there is no essay?????/ Plus they just told me that they werent going to look at apps yet????????
 
I haven't gotten one yet from CCOM...and I'm verified. Interesting lol

20 schools. Don't wanna kill my whole summer. Lol.

Not exactly. There are really only like 5 top tier schools with crazy high stats. Most of them are mid-tier and some low-tier.

My top choice is RowanSOM.

If they are sending them out to people like me who just got verified and have no official MCAT scores or calculated GPAS on their primary YET, I"m pretty sure everyone will get a CCOM secondary
in the next day or two.

But, LMU-DCOM already has the secondary posted on their website (I guess it's open to everyone).
 
Sorry I have a dumb question, but how do secondaries work when the schools send them? Do they email them to you? Do they show up on AACOMAS app? Etc. And then do you just fill them out on your computer and send them back electronically like an email?

For the most part you receive an email with a login username and password and a link to the secondary. You complete it and pay right on their website to submit the app.

it really makes me wonder why all the premeds freak out about not applying the first day. cool it. christ!
 
Got a "primary received" email from BCOM last night.
 
Got a secondary invite from my #1 choice school, but they have my primary with he wrong gpa. Crap
 
will schools be sending a "primary received" email before sending a secondary? Or has anybody just received the secondary?

I applied to MSU but haven't heard anything. Not sure why some have and some haven't heard from them.

Some schools will just send the "primary received" email before the secondary. Others (like OSUCOM) will have "primary received" emails bundled with a secondary invite.
