I'm prewriting secondaries and I just wanted to run my diversity topic by SDN. I've volunteered extensively with disabled and low income populations, and I wanted to talk about how a project I did with my org led me into advocacy work and to getting an MPH in health policy.
I'm currently writing about how this work has taught me how small changes in policy/access/care can have large impacts on QOL for vulnerable groups, as well as the fact that despite being heavily impacted it is difficult for these groups to self-advocate. I'm very passionate health policy which I think is fairly uncommon among applicants, but I'm worried that the 'insights' I've taken away aren't particularly insightful.
Any feedback on appropriateness of topic and my take on it are appreciated.
