It has nothing to do with your opinion and everything to do with the way you treat others [aka certain people on this thread].
Then you are welcome to leave or be banned. That's up to you.Ah. In that case, I could care less.

And the mods, who don't like people who can't be courteous on the forum.
You say you aren't breaking any rules and immediately admit to breaking a very important rule; being courteous and respectful of everyone. As a member of this forum, I am obligated to point out such violations when I see them. But this isn't news to you because you've been told you're behaving like a jerk many times ITT and herein lies the issue. You could have stopped when people told you your behavior was inappropriate but instead you took it as a compliment as if being disrespectful is a virtue and failed to act civilly.I am not breaking any rules. I respect those that I respect, and will not respect those who will not civilly discuss a topic. I do not namecall or use profanity as some users have used towards me.
You are not a mod, please don't tell me what to do or what rules i am breaking.
a rounded off 3.4 and 24. It is very possible the actual averages were 3.3X/3.2X/23.X.what were the entering stats?

What you consider being courteous and respectful is: "not hurting anyones feelings". I do not agree with that. I do however, believe - and I'll say it again - namecalling and profanity is inappropriate and very disrespectful.
Just because you don't like what's coming out of someone's mouth doesn't mean it's automatically disrespectful in nature. I am speaking my mind and have that right. If I look down on something I will voice it.
You want to keep this going? You're ruining the original point of the thread. But keep going, you must be mad 🙂
Disrespectful ≠ hurtful. Respectful ≠ non hurtful. There is absolutely no problem with attacking and disrespecting ideas and I'll join right along side anyone who wants to point and laugh at the frightening stupidity endemic to fundamentalist institutions like LUCOM. However, the target of your ire has not only been ideas but certain individuals, namely the reapplicant you assumed was URM and sub-par because of it. You've been made aware that you are an offensive individual yet you still laud your capacity to "look down" on people as if it were something to be proud of.What you consider being courteous and respectful is: "not hurting anyones feelings". I'm sure they appreciated the compliment. 🙄Was not looking down on the person who I asked if they were URM
I even said they were probably smarter than me
Was looking down on LU and LUCOM
This thread got out of hand once certain people felt I was being "mean" to the user who went to LU, and then took it upon themselves to bash me as "karma"
In response, I defended myself against those people.
You just won't stop will you.
Those 3 years will be a breeze.breezy will be taking care of your mom in the hospital in three years. Scary s***.
I'm sure they appreciated the compliment. 🙄
While I agree that the quality of a LU education is dubious, your comments implying that they would score poorly on the MCAT and comparing yourself to them in such a way as to elevate your own status were arrogant and disrespectful.
No, this is fun. You just keep on saying stuff.

🤣lol I love that you bring up USNWR rankings! You don't get it, so you might want to read this article.I stated that I was confident my education was better. Which, going by US news and their ranking system - is a legitamate fact.

YOU AREN'T a med student though. Wow...this is unreal. A medical school acceptance doesn't mean you can talk to people however you feel. Stop it! Please just stop and go to another thread where your arrogance is appreciated. That has nothing to do with my statement. i am getting tired, Please refrain from speaking to me.
Perhaps when you're a med student I'll be happy to continue this.

You are a physician. Are you so naive as to believe I am the worst? The are far "worse" (worse = voice their opinions that are just brutally honest and perhaps not so nice) people out there who will be taking care of your mom.
SDN is just a select group. People who you probably think are reincarnated Hitler are doctors...
You're right. I'm unqualified to speak with you. Thank you for deigning to converse with a lowly premed. That has nothing to do with my statement. i am getting tired, Please refrain from speaking to me.

I'm a physician...you aren't. Until you are...there is no comparison.
Intelligence has little to do with medical school success...and even less to do with success in practice. You are in for a rood awakening when you realize that other students at your top 50 program (trying to refrain from laughing as a type that) are just as smart as you. Without humility you are just going to be outed as that insecure windbag that is impossible to be around. You may be able to fool med school interviewers for a day...but your colors will shine through in med school. They will shine through around med school professors and rotation attendings, whom you will be attempting to get recommendation letters. Word to the wise...don't do an audition rotation. Be a ghost to the programs which you apply. Let them look at your numbers and nothing else. HIde that personality of yours and you will go far in life.

I assure you, your arrogance and disrespect will rear its ugly head eventually with patients. I can be impatient and arrogant, and in the long run it showed to the customers I deal with in my current job. This WILL happen to you, as someone who has learned many things the hard way, I URGE you to listen J4PAC and gain some humility and empathy.Thank you for your input. I assure you, I am not arrogant or cocky when it comes to patients and those I respect, like my colleagues, friends, and strangers in need of help. If I don't respect someone for the choices they made, i will walk away or voice it. But, I know when and how to be respectful.
I thought you were done talking? I guess not. Still hurt. Oh well. *tears*

Do you just want the last word? I can go all night.K. Are we done now?
Notice how breezy didn't reply to the physician who put him in his place. LOL.
Baaaanhaaammmeeerrrr!!!I feel the thread lock coming...

So because there are far worse people, we should "accept" your complete and utter insensitivity to others which you describe as "brootally honest".
Welp I say that you "slipped through the cracks" of the admissions radar and as stated above and will be eaten alive in med school when your personality rubs classmates, faculty, preceptors, and most importantly patients the wrong way.
It's one thing to be brutally honest but to be offensive and not care and blatantly state that you don't care in their face is outrageous. I do not want you as my doctor nor do I want anyone to be under your care based on how I have seen you act here.
Now that we have gotten that out of the way..
@Nontrad_DO_143 did you make your decision to decline the LUCOM ii?

When the whole world tells you one thing, and you choose to believe in its opposite then I wonder who is at fault here. BTW I dont think you are as intelligent as Darwin or Gallileo. You couldn't just stop talking?
Your opinion is worthless to me, you will make a poor physician yourself, and you are annoying, \'
Go away.
Ugly avatar as well.

So you can't be the one to not respond? What does that say about your maturity (yes I realize the slight hypocrisy of my provoking you to question your maturity about not being able to avoid being provoked)? The whole world = SDN? Never knew that
I don't think i'm as intelligent as them either. That was such a good point...
So just because I have a highly controversial opinion, I can't believe in it? Wow, maybe it's you who isn't "accepting" of others.
Let it be said that I tried to end this thread but certain people, as two users above, are provoking me.
