I didn't do so well on the DAT the first time, I am determined to retake it again.
The first time, I did sort of rush through last minute studying, and I figured since I always do well under pressure, it wasn't the case this time.
Since my QR score was beyond horrible, I got Math Destroyer, it came in the mail today, just wanted to ask, did you guys run through these problems once and it just clicked into your head how to do them?
Bio, I'm going to re-read cliff notes and Feralis, not sure if I should reread the 2016 Kaplan Bio book section, but also doing practice bio exams on DAT BOOTCAMP (even though I feel like I completely memorized them by now -___- )
PAT, mine was ALRIGHT, but not as high as I wanted it, I've always struggled with hole punching which took me forever on the real DAT to complete, so I'm going to get a hole puncher today along with some post it notes to just practice visualizing things differently. Also going to take Crack PAT seriously.
RC, this was the ONLY section I scored high on, which made me feel low about my sciences. I'm not planning to do anything for this, my DAT exam had a particular passage that was 25 small paragraphs long (mind you this was the last passage so I didn't even get to read it completely, so I just skimmed) If I have time I'm just going to read some science articles
ORGO- don't get me started on this, I did pretty bad, but I realized the only way to do better is to completely re-teach myself orgo using chads videos, and then do practice problems on dat destroyer, is this what you guys reccomend?
GEN CHEM- You guys get the jist since I was pretty bad at math, I didn't do so hot on this section either. Some people get lucky with conceptual questions on the DAT but mine was like 90% math. Sigh 🤔
IS THERE ANYTHING, LITERALLY ANYTHING MORE that I can do? , I feel like I'm just going to study at least 7 hours a day for this since its going to be in 3 months. Do you guys recommend I rotate through subjects or do one a day? Whats best? I'm working part time, 20 hours a week so I think I should be good ( seriously thought if I should quit my job so I can dedicate more time for this)
Any advice would be genuinely appreciated
