Nope. I'll be at UCSF. Apparently, everyone I have told about my decision feels the same way as you. No one seems to understand why I (or anyone) would turn down Harvard... Oh well.

This is tiring....

As has been mentioned ad nauseum in other threads, the school is not closing MCP Hospital. They don't even own MCP Hospital, and their main teaching hospital is Hahnemann Hospital, which is robust. Tenet is selling MCP, and there are four groups interested in buying it: Drexel, Temple, a doctors' group at MCP, and an Italian radiology equipment company. The hospital will likely remain open in some capacity, but again, Hahnemann, where most of the students train, is fine.
