We would be remiss if we did not include information on the myriad of career options available in healthcare. With this in mind, we will start off with nursing.

As we post these up, there will be a professional in that career field available to answer specific questions.

The nursing professional available and willing to answer questions is:
1derwomanRN (screenname). Feel free to PM her or post your questions here.

Hello everyone. I am the person jsnuka referred to in the previous post. I am a nurse and currently I manage a primary care clinic, more specifically a FQHC. I will complete my MBA in health care administration this fall and hope to go on to become the Vice President of Nursing and eventually the CEO of a health care entity. I am a pediatric nurse by trade and have worked at Children's Hospitals in the midwest and on the east coast. Also, I have worked in home care as a pediatric visiting nurse. I will pursue a Doctorate degree in nursing in the fall of 2008 (either a PhD in nursing or a DNP, I haven't decided....we can discuss this if you'd like...). Please feel free to PM me or post a msg here. I look forward to hearing from you all...
