Hi guys, brief history on me.

Mediocre Scores
Good Resident

Did not get Surg again...

Is it worth doing prelim IM... no luck in the first batch of SOAP Cycle. Thinking of applying to prelim IM?

Is this smart or not... please help...

I am on a J1 visa... have used up 2 years already...

It's better than not having a job, and you're much more likely to be offered a PGY2 spot for categorical if you want one.

Thanks, no luck with prelim IM in the SOAP. Will start calling programs next week to see if anything is open.
