I'm considering trying to fit a GE/OEC 9400 into a 11x12 foot room. Does anyone know if that is realistic? Any estimates on minimum space requirements?

Very tight...
The footprint of the monitors is 2x3 feet and the C-arm is about 2.5x6.5 feet. With a table 2 feet wide and the C-arm parked at the side of the table, you would have very little manuvering room nor much room for the patient to get onto the table. It is do-able, but will be quite cozy....

Thanks algos - I figured it was a little optimistic.

My procedure room is about 10 x 11 and I can do SCS trials in it. I used to have a 9400 in there. No problems at all. Go for it.

Excellent! - Thanks gorback. I think its time to just make it work. I'm tired of leaving money at the hospital (not to mention time, hassle, etc). I found out that the primary insurance companies in my area pay about a $400 site-of-service differential for lumbar TFESIs if I do them in the office. Not too shabby.

One more tip: there is a guy whose procedure room is even smaller than mine. He put the c-arm catty-corner in the room, with the bed across the room diagonally. Since the c-arm is pinned in the corner they move the table around instead. You have to see it to believe it, and it's hard to keep a straight face.
