hi, i have my interview on the 9th of April, any tips, like what kind of questions they asked or anything would help to prepare.
The interview will most likely be a group interview! There were two other candidates and it was like a 3 part interview. The first part is 3 rounds of questions where each person gets a different question. The second part consisted of an activity where you worked together as a group for the prompt they give you. The third part was more of a hands on activity. The staff was super nice! I would say just be yourself and have fun with it! Good luck!!

Hi! I also had my interview April 9th! I can’t stop checking my email now. Did they give you an idea as to when you might hear back? Let me know if you do! Best of luck!

Has anyone that had their interview on April 9 received a call or email from Stanbridge?

Hi! can anyone provide insight about the interview process please?
It’s a group interview with 2 other candidates. With my interview they started off with individual questions and they only asked each of us 3 different questions. No one got the same question. Keep in mind, these questions are super random. You would think they’d be general questions like “why do you want to be an OT? Why did you choose our program? What’s the difference between OT and PT?” Etc. But out of all the total individual questions, only one of us got a general OT question. A lot of questions deal with your personal experience or your personality. They can throw you some trick questions that you really have to think about. The next 2 parts were group activities and you’ll get a chance to work with the other candidates to come up with ideas. Lastly they’ll ask you if you have any questions for them. After the interview they will send you a writing prompt that you have to finish and turn in within 30 mins. Personally, the group activities and essay were easier than the individual questions. The questions I got I didn’t really prep for. Just be honest and be yourself! The interviewers are really nice and easy going! Overall I had a good experience. The group activities made it a lot more fun and less nerve-wrecking. Anyways, good luck on your interview and hope this helps! 🙂

were you waitlisted after an interview?
I was. From what I’ve read, those who got accepted were informed about exactly a week after interviewing for the most part. I was told I was waitlisted a little bit over a week after my interview.

Oh did you speak with a counselor or anything through the process? Who informed you about being waitlisted? I had my interview recently and feel like I totally bombed a question and was wondering if it’s waitlist or a possible rejection.
My advisor contacted me about being waitlisted! That's how I felt too! I felt like I bombed my questions but I surprisingly got waitlisted/ It was all I could think about before I got the call. How long ago was your interview?

For those who waited over a week for a response about their interview, you should email your admissions representative and ask. I just emailed them today and my interview was April 9th and I asked how long I would get a response by and they replied saying that I am waitlisted and they will contact me if they choose to accept me closer to start date in July.

They tend to be a bit slow cause they are going over the apps and trying to see if the pre-reqs are good. Last year I submitted my app in October and didn't hear back until January to set up an interview for February. It turns out my stats pre-req was too old, so I had to submit a waiver.

So don't worry as long as they received it, it is in the works. I'm sure the pandemic made things even more difficult unfortunately. 🙁
Hi! I have my interview tomorrow and they also informed me that my stats pre-req was too old. Were you accepted after you submitted to waive the class? What does the waiver entail?

Hi
