Starting early, PS adivce

Hey everyone!
I am looking to apply next cycle, for the fall of 2014. I have applied before, last year, but with zero success. I had a very late mailing date (oct!!) and my DAT will definitely be re-taken. I'm beginning a masters program in a few weeks at Midwestern-IL, but in the in-between time I'm getting my act together.

Anyone out there interested in reviewing a personal statement? I had a really hard time with this part last time around too, seemed like it took me forever and even after submission I wasn't totally happy or comfortable with it. I appreciate any and all criticisms!
