Hi. I had a question about Step 2 CK score reporting delay. I'm planning to take CK in August.
This is what ECFMG says in its website:
"The USMLE program usually reports Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) scores within four weeks of testing. However, because of necessary modifications to the test item pool, there will be a delay in reporting for some examinees who test between the week of July 13 through late August. The target date for reporting Step 2 CK scores for most examinees who test during this time period will be Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
If you need to receive a Step 2 CK score before September 16, we recommend that you take Step 2 CK no later than Friday, July 10, 2015."
1. Does this mean, regardless of the date I take CK in August (either August 7 or August 28), the results will be out only on September 16?
2. Any idea what exactly they mean by "late August"? Does August 28 count as late August?
I know only ECFMG would know this specifically, but if someone who went through the same problem before (last year or the years before) could answer this, that would be very helpful.
Thanks!
