stewart university

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I like how there are three generations of Stewarts involved. The Chancellor is the third, the provost is the Jr and the provost emeritis is the sr. I'm pretty sure its relatively unlikely that all three are still alive.

Furthermore, not only are they running a medical school but they are the "true" kings of England.

The current Windsor family is a group of pretenders to the throne of the UK that should be thrown out. The people of the UK should realize what brutes the Windsors are. They are the cause of the writing of the Bill of Rights by the Americans, because of all the inhumane things their direct ancestors did to human beings. The torture and cruelty of the Windsors is world renown for the last 250 years and should be published about more, so that people will wake up and figure out that the British Royal Family is not British at all, but German, from the family Hanover.

The true deserving family of the throne is the Stewart family from Scotland. We now know that the senior genealogical person in the Stewart line is Dr. William Bullock Stewart, Jr.. His son William Bullock Stewart III and his grandson William Bullock Stewart IV, are ready to assume the duties of the monarch. Long live the Stewart's, whom the Hanovers tried to exterminate and commit genocide against. The Windsor's had their name changed after WWI to conceal their true German identity from the British and other citizens of the UK. The Windsors have been lying to everyone for the last 250 years, in addition to committing continuous attrocities against peoples all over the world.

Long live the Stewart's and the Royal Stewart Family and down with the Windsor's (who are really Hanover's from Hanover, Germany).

So if they aren't accredited with the WHO or any other accrediting body in the US or state of California, are the graduates possibly only allowed to practice in the Indian territory they claim to be on. Once the whole start up med school deflates maybe the premises can be converted into a casino?

Q: Where are the clinical rotations being done?
A: Clinical rotations are the least concern of a new applicant to medical school. A new medical student, just beginning their medical school basic science instruction, has 16 months in the accelerated Stewart University M.D. program, before they even take the USMLE step 1 exam, which they need to pass prior to taking any clinical rotations in the U.S.. The clinical rotations can take place in a variety of locations throughout the United States or elsewhere in the world - where the medical student desires.

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

yeah, who cares about arguably the MOST IMPORTANT PART OF MEDICAL SCHOOL.

Of course, those 16 months are extremely accelerated, as they can include all your pre-reqs as well:

Prerequisites can be taken concurrently, on a provisional acceptance, while attending Stewart University during the first 16 months enrollment (basic science phase of MD curriculum).

A: We neither seek nor desire accreditation from the State of California, as we are an International school, operating on federal land, and do not need accreditation from the State of California in order to operate. Because we are an International school that is operating on federal land, and sovereign Indian reservation land. We operate outside the jurisdiction of the State of California, and they have no authority over Stewart University. If you call the State of California, they will not say that they recognize Stewart University because Stewart University is above the standard of the state as an International medical school. We operate completely legally. The state of California does not have the authority to recognize our stature.

I love this place!

I've decided this is a joke. There is no logical way in all of human existence that some guy can put something up like this and actually believe that people are dumb enough to fall for it. I rather think that

1) This is some VERY good way that someone is trying to get revenge on this stewart family. You know, make them look so absolutely bassackwards that no right person would ever consider them for anything (i.e, employment) after a quick google of their name.

2) like someone else posted earlier (sorry I forgot your name) this is a joke being pulled on pre-med students everywhere to try and show how 'serious' we are about following our dreams. Which if it is, is a pretty dumb joke, as a) no one is buying this school, and b) we are denigrating it even as we speak.

So, i am not going to even try to understand this school anymore. It's just too beyond me.

They operate on sovereign Indian land, they are on federal land, AND they are royalty. Sounds legit to me.

all hail the stewarts!

I dont know if anyones noticed but when you click on the picture of the person on their staff named James Ferretti MD PhD it links to an NIH symposium page for a James Ferretti who according to their page only has a PhD ( no M.D.) and has spend 40 years researching NMR biochemisty but for some reason has left this to take up a position at the all famous Stewart University as a Physiology and Neuroscience Professor..and got his M.D along the way.....Something really seems off about this

dude are you trying to say that the stewart is lying?

Q:Who are the professors and where are they from? A:All professors at Stewart University School of Medicine possess earned Ph.D. degrees, or professional degrees such as MD, DO, DPM, DVM, DDS, DMD, or a combination of these degrees.

Hahaha so apparently a doctor of VETERINARY MEDICINE is qualified to teach human medicine. Awesome. Hahaha.

OK...So what is the real deal with this school? Is this truly an international school just setting up shop in california? If so, this shouldn't be too bad....right? :scared:

I dunno....The website is kinda scary.

I've decided this is a joke.

Seems like they paid for a lot of ads for it to be a fake, and got it registered as a recipient of AMCAA MCAT reporting the the like. And if it were a fake they would also just claim they had clinical rotations, accredition and other aspects of infrastructure and faculty all set. There would be no reason not to make more grandious claims if it were a hoax.

because it makes for a better hoax

duh!

edit: I'm still almost dumbfounded that people actually believe this. Believing it's a real but illegitimate med school is no less stupid than believing that you're going to earn a medical degree there yourself. For the amount of time that some of us spend on SDN, and some Frontpage skills any one of us could create a similar website

lets see the match list:D

I think I saw Stewart U on the list of non-amcas schools that you could release your MCAT scores to on the AAMC website....maybe they are legit, just not good.

They seem pretty upfront about what they do, that is you probably will be accepted for residency in the military/government but not state institutions. Its an option, but I wouldn't take it. I'd go to a carribian school first.

They don't even have any clinical rotations arranged, so it's a bit of a stretch to say that you'll probably be accepted for residency in the military.

They're a joke, whether they intend to be or not. A quick look at their staff/administration page is enough to confirm that.

I'm just finding this whole thing so effing hilarious,I work in a small office and everyone thinks I have lost my mind, fake school or not this whole thing is quite entertaining

I think it is a bit scary. They are essentially taking advantage of the students who could not get into other medical schools, set them up for a medical education where they will likely fail to get into residency, all awhile taking their money and wasting years of their li.fe

Yeah, its kinda like most Caribbean medical schools.

bump, what a gem, is there an image of the website of this school? it's down now.

well, handy you can't just click on the website and expect it just to pop up.
i just had my interview there recently, and then i paid a small sum of money ($9999) to look at the website. it's a sweet school and the website is super advanced, there's like nothing on the page but stewart university cos everything is in code.
i'm sorry, your chances there don't look good. maybe you could reapply next year. really sinai vs. stewart ... not even a competition, i would seriously start reapplying now to get into stewart. :D
