Study question for MCAT

Hi, first time poster. Just wanted to know how to time yourself for the science passages with the AAMC practice items. Should I just to do one passage at a time or should I do maybe four passages in forty minutes. I have done a couple of searches and the general consensus for scoring well on the MCAT is to do as many passages as possible and understand the pathology. Thanks.

kaplan says to average about 9 minutes per passage...although this will always depend on the # of passages in the particular test
