Hi Everyone,

I just received my AI grade from July. Should I inform the programs I applied to or is it not that big of a deal compared to 3rd year grades? What's the most tactful way to do it?

Thanks.

If you did well, inform them.

Similar question, I did 2 sub-i's, one Medicine and one ICU. The Medicine Sub-I grade was uploaded to my ERAS transcript early September, just received the ICU grade back, which was an Honors. The grade will be included in the Dean's letter due to be released early November, but should I email programs I haven't heard from yet with an update regarding this grade? I have an honors in both the core Medicine clerkship and the Medicine Sub-I, so wasn't sure if it would make a difference.

It won't make a huge difference. Plus, they'll find out about it in the MSPE.

Just a follow up question to the original question. I am also in the same situation, recently got my sub-i grade and did well. I have already asked my registrars office to update my transcript on eras, but should I also contact programs so they can make note of it? Thanks

Same answer as above. If you're going to re-transmit your transcript anyway and it will be on your MSPE (which it should) you run the risk of looking like a massive gunner if you start sending emails saying "yo...check out this sweet H I got on my SubI...now can I have an interview?"
