Received an e-mail from Paige yesterday saying they needed transcripts for classes that I havent even taken yet...did anyone else get one of these e-mails?
 
I did as well. I'm a little worried about it......because I won't have that update until at least December after the next semester.

You gotta be a little more specific. Was that all she said? Did you submit one of those planned/in progress coursework sheets with your app?

It basically just said thank you for submitting your application, in order to fully process the application please submit transcripts for classes such and such.

Every class that she listed as needing transcripts for are classes that I have not taken yet. In my application, I did list these uncompleted courses under the in-progress portion of the app, with a completion date of December 2010. So I am very confused as to how I can submit transcripts for these classes.

I sent her an e-mail back and I'm going to make a call on Monday. Hopefully it was just a mistake (I dont see how it could be anything else).

Campus is nice! We have our own building and every time we go across the street to the other side of campus everyone just stares at us like we're aliens or something, because a lot of the students ahead of us haven't explored over there much. The area of town is super chill, and I love it here more than I love it back home...granted I am starting to get a bit home sick now that I have been away from my puppy for about a month lol.

I hope you all get this transcript thing situation. I wish I could help, but I never received that email when I applied.

Where is back home? Well I'm glad you're enjoying it. I hope I can score an interview this cycle and be able to check the campus out.

Some schools list the planned classes for an upcoming semester or the in progress classes on the transcripts. I can't see what else it could be. That is really odd. Well like you said, hopefully she replies on Monday to clarify.

lol yeah the transcripts I sent in have them on there. They are listed under "Fall 2010" on my transcripts, they just dont have a grade on there because the semester hasnt started yet. So I dont think thats the problem either.

Ill let you guys know what happened when I find out, in case anyone else runs into this same problem.
 
wut do u mean by 200 from last cycle?? Were these the ones on the alternate list??

Yes, some of them. Sullivan has a policy that if you applied last year, you get to reactivate your application as is the next year.

Oh, and Delano, Home is only 3.5 hours away in northern Indiana. So you guys from Texas have a longer drive than me!

Just updated with Paige and she said to send Fall 2010 transcripts when grades are available. This will be in December in my case.

Yep thats what I was told as well. Apparently it was no big deal. I still dont know why they requested transcripts for those courses, but as long as its taken care of I dont care lol.

I also asked her about a timetable for hearing about an interview invite and she said there is no timetable, just whenever the committee decides we will be notified by e-mail.

More than likely not. That would be absurd because by then there may not be seats available.

I guess we are all gonna be receiving an email like this.🙁 I got an email from here today which basically said thanks for applying and they will be evaluating my app in the next few weeks and then they will let me know if they require additional info.

I would email her and ask her what is going one with that. I would guess that they wouldn't hold interview back for you all, but idk, after last years cycle and all of the applications, it wouldn't surprise me either. I guess what I'm getting at is, you should try to find out if you should be expecting an interview or not. Most schools give out conditional acceptances to people who haven't completed all of the prereqs.
 
Do you know how many applications they received last year?

Well she emailed me a few days ago and said that they will be evaluating my application in the next few weeks and that she will let me know if they need something else.
 
I`m going nuts with anxiety. I applied late last year (in Nov), reactivated this year and got an an email to send in some stuff which i did and can`t stop checking my email.

Can anyone let us know when they get an invite for an interview?

Look what I found on their homepage website.

"Please Note: Class of 2013, entering July 2010, is full. Application for the class of 2014 will be available in June 2010 on our website."

I think that needs to be updated.


PS. Does anyone know what the statistics of each classes are? In terms of race. I only ask because someone told me that schools there may not be so big on diversity.

I'd say its about on par with the public university I attended. It wouldn't be anything like living in a big city and going to a public university, but the range of ethnicity is pretty broad. We actually have 2 international students from what I can recall. I think one is from Trinidad and the other maybe India.

I recall from last year, they started to send out interview invites starting at the end of August. I wish I heard from them back soon so I can decide whether I should take a course (microbio which I didn't take in undergrad) in Fall or not! 😱

I also applied to Sullivan for the entering class in 2011. I submitted my application mid-June and got an email from Paige on 27Jul2010 to confirm that they have recieved all my documents and will notify me if they need anything else. I emailed her again today and she answered back saying that they do not have a timetable to when applicants will know anything- they will send us an email once the committee decides... :xf:

I heard that Sullivan aims at students with degrees since they don't look at PCAT score.

Do you know if this true?

a lot of friends of mine said they applied to sullivan and didn't get invites for interview but they got accepted into the University of kentucky (top 5).

I dont know if I should also apply to SUCOP.

Thanks Delano....now on interview invites, if you get an invite-are you almost guaranteed of getting in??? Does any one know the stats on the invites? Pinky00, good luck on your MPH degree this Fall and not quitting. That's an awesome degree to have! You will be definitely get in by the hard work and determination you've shown so far. Your undergraduate grades are "minute" compared to what you are doing now. That I applaud you.

i know a lot of people started to send their application in early june. 🙁
but anyway, please share this info if it is possible. im kinda scared right now for the interview part.
