Can anybody shed insight into the various companies available and what typical compensation is per visit?

Teladoc - $23/phone call consult, $28/video consult

Independent contractor, thus 1099... no taxes taken out of it.

During start of Covid, was able to do 5 to 8 consults an hour. I hear it is similarly busy during flu season.

I can’t comment to the post above but for the telemedicine company I work with (they just deal with issue essentially), us doctors do all the documentation. It’s very straight forward and takes about 5 minutes of documentation.
