Tests you have made your subservient peon out of.

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Thats right...no matter what you have accomplished, there is always another SDNer one-upping you.

Dangit. I thought you were a decently smart guy. I guess this forum tends to make everyone into a gummy-brained pre-med.

That's one preposition right there.

My latest bio test had 50 questions. The median number right was 29. I had 45 questions correct. The professor cut the value down to x/40.

If it wasn't clear, this is a thread in which to post experience you have had wherein you did extremely well on a test.

I got a 99 on my MCAT, beat that- lol.

If you spent some time studying, you might have gotten over a 29 on the MCAT.

Hey, Cegar, you're kind of a d-bag aren't you? And why are you judging other people's study habits when you've made over 300 posts on SDN in a month? That's pretty ridiculous. Maybe if you would have spent more time studying, you would've gotten 100% right on the exam.

Oh man, I didn't notice that comment...that's pretty harsh Cegar...

you're weird .. maybe you got a good grade on your bio exam, but you sure as heck have no life .. I just got back from 10,000 BC with a bunch of friends .. am goin to bed early cuz i'm skiing all day long tom .. and you're just boasting about a test on a friday night .. don't think so highly of yourself .. it's unsightly

That was his response.

I figured in this playground of a forum it would be all right to trade a finger for a toe.

Cegar,
Do you know where you're going to med school yet? I want to make sure I don't go there.

Don't worry. If I still want to go to med school by the time my application date rolls around, I wont even by applying to the ones you have been accepted at.

That was his response.

No, it's not all right. And I'll try my best to play nicely, since Jolie asked for a little civility.

You essentially create a thread to brag about yourself. That's great and everything, but then you extend that to the point where you feel compelled to make everyone else feel like crap for not being perfect. So here's the deal: Maybe I don't have a med-school worthy GPA right now, and maybe my MCAT scores aren't going to be in some highly competitive range. But that doesn't give you the right to judge me and to think lowly of the way that I'm spending my time. The life experiences that I have gained by not spending my every waking moment studying have been infintely useful to me. And when it comes down to it, if I make it that far, being a 'real person' instead of someone who spend their four years of undergrad with their nose buried in a bio book, is going to make me be a better doctor someday.

If you were looking for some congratulations on a good job on an exam, you should've just said so because people on SDN can be your biggest cheerleaders. When you word everything to put people on the defensive, all you're going to get is defensive replies.

Stop creating threads to make other people feel like ****. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

You really should have read the initial post.

It was supposed to be a nice pat-on-the-back thread about doing well on tests. You know, to raise morale.

I only made fun of someone not-at-all bad MCAT score when they started the personal attacks.

And quite frankly, I don't give a damn if you don't have a med-school worthy GPA or if you have interesting life experiences. I'm not an admissions committee.

But if you want to brag about a score you got in some silly undergrad class, you can go ahead. Because that's what this god damn thread is for.

Damnit.

Also, I had the ulterior motive of making people come in here and squawk about how I'm an egotistical *** for making a thread about good test scores so that I could get some entertainment.

But really, it's supposed to be a fun thread. At least it hasn't spun off into some discussion of sexual discrimination yet.

I ace every test, and if I dont make at least 100, the test was unfair to begin with.

I really, really, really like your quote about liberal arts colleges.

I didnt say it, someone else sent me the message. But thanks anyways.

Well, yeah. I like your quote. The quote that you have. Not the quote that you made. Otherwise you wouldn't have quoted it.

Unless you're the type to put your own quotes in your signature.

I wouldn't put it past some of these people.

how was 10,000 BC? Didn't exactly look realistic at all. They were hunting big game, yet had very well developed stone cities (10,000 BC??)

it was really, really good .. kind of like 300 actually! but you gotta suspend your disbelief a bit lol

nope wrong .. don't read into my profile it changes and I don't care to update it .. 36 here now .. 10VR, 14PS, 12BS
eat your heart out

Oh. Good job.

ADCOM: So I see here that you had C's in most of your classes throughout your undergrad, any explanation for that?

MAJIK: Yeah I had a "life". I usually went to movies with my buddies while the other suckers studied. Hey they let me graduate so it's cool amirite? Btw, have you seen 10,000bc?

ADCOM: ...

I've never had less than a B .. 3.73 GPA ding dong

and yet your traded nothing for nothing .. all i'm saying is that you can balance out your life .. NO, don't boast .. think more lowly of yourself than you should .. complacency is the devil .. and that's all i got to say on the matter

I see. You're a stealth gunner.

i don't gun .. ever .. i make a point of it not to do so .. stealth gunner?? Sounds like an oxymoron to me

I think the only oxymoron in this thread is you.
