Texans with only 1 out of 3 Texas Interviews

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Just a question for those who received an interview to a Texas school:

Do I have a chance coming from out-of-state?

Depends on your stats really. Most out-of-staters have no shot at all but if you have ridiculous stats like 3.9-4.0 in GPA/sGPA and have like a 24 or higher on the DAT then I would say that your chances are competitive next to other out-of-staters. Most schools only reserve like 1-3 seats for out-of-staters if any. Good luck

Anyone know how many Baylor invites go out on Nov. 30th/Dec. 1st?

I only got interview from Houston. But that's okay. I live in Houston and I don't want to go anywhere else! Its good to be a Texan applying in Houston. They have 1 person from out of state in last year's freshmen class. Interview was nice, students very helpful and informative.

Apparently one is all it took. Anyone interview one place and get in?

I only interviewed at Baylor and got accepted, so I guess it is possible to beat the odds.
