No evidence, pure speculations. It seems like a lot of people's say 111006, but mine and somebody else's was 110906.

I have fallen into the paranoia game. This is going to be a LONG week.
 
Does anyone not have the TCOM status change to: "The application review process is complete. Information will be sent to you in the mail."

I interviewed late august at A&M and my LMFU is 100506. A&m is the only public texas school I interviewed at.

Mine didn't change.
 
I got the status change saying that the review process is complete, but the page also says that the application is incomplete but gives no link to see what is missing. Does anyone else have this?

UTSA is the other school that seems to fit; however, like yourself for Texas A&M, there is another person that has 100406 that did not have a UTSA interview. Texas A&M seemed like the perfect match until you. Why did you have to post, why. Just kidding, good luck to you.
 
Flab is just an outlier, don't worry about him. The 100406 crew is going to A&M baby! WOOHOOO!
 
Sorry about that! I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up too much. My personal opinion is thus: Those with the most recent updates (110906 thru today) are the ones who are going to get the early acceptances. I think that's the deadline TMDSAS had for the schools to give them their updated acceptances. Different schools turned them in on different days, thereby giving us the Nov 9-11 dates.

I really hope i'm wrong on this one as it won't bode well for myself. But we'll see.

Perhaps this means that you might get an acceptance from UTSA. Now if your status changes again, then it might mean you have one from TAMU also!
 
If you think about it, there is no need to notify TMDSAS of early acceptances. They only need to tell TMDSAS who is retaining offers with their schools after December 31st.

Except if they update who they accepted then they can see what other schools have accepted that person... so they can decide how to recruit.
 
well i guess that bodes well for me b/c mines seems to be 111006 well i hope and pray that means good things and my status changed for TCOM bring on the 15th i'm ready lol hmmm i hope i am getting excited for something that will materialize good luck to you guys
 
and i finished all my interviews a lont time ago back in august/sept
 
anyone know if Tech will be showing any "status changes" on their application status website?

naah i don't think TMDSAS would have a deadline.. the medschools have all the way until dec 31 to offer prematch acceptances. so remember guys if its not this week.. maybe in the coming weeks!!! 🙂
 
my date is so early....

I had all of my interviews except for TAMU in August. If the updates do correspond to notification by schools to TMDSAS of acceptances, maybe it would make sense that mine were a few weeks after the interview. I hope so. Otherwise, I may be screwed🙁

Join the club, I wonder if anyone with all relatively early interviews has a recent update. I am not going to go back and look, but if anyone wants to share...

Hey guys, this could all mean absolutely nothing...but I did want to let you know that I had all of my interviews in August, with the last being August 18, and my LFMU changed on 9/16, and then again on 11/10.

Done with my three interviews so far on the 10th of September and I have a 11/10 date.
 
5 interviews before sept 1 -- LMFU currently 11/10
 
guys i really dont think this date lmfu has anything to do with acceptances...think about it...why would med schools tell the application service which students they accept...it does not make sense at all....they may do it right before match but not now...
 
I have only had 2 interviews, UTMB (9/22) and UTSW (11/4). My LMFU was 110606, and now it's 111306. I didn't notice anyone else with similar updates so take it for what it's worth.
 
I dont think it necesarily means acceptance but why would TMDSAS be changing our file so late after our interviews?

Well, for the lucky people who get more than one big envelope in the weeks to come, there has to be a way for TMDSAS to ensure that they are only in possession of one acceptance on January 15. It probably makes more sense to be keeping track of them as they come in rather than trying to process them all at once.

BTW, I hope I'm wrong, because my last interview was 10/14 at UTSW and my LMFU is 101606. (My other two interviews were UTH and UTMB in August.)

But then the schools will have to update TMDSAS again on who gave up their acceptances. By waiting they can do it once.

Yeah, I know I don't know. Which is what's keeping me sane right now... 🙂

I'm OOS and interviewed at UT Houston 9/29. My LMFU is 101906.

If you have had multiple interviews and only checked your LMFU once, then it is hard to say whether or not the change in status correlates to an acceptance. Anyone else with a 10/30 LMFU?
 
I don't get it, why is it good to have the same file update date as other people? Isn't it possible that they could both accept and reject people on the same day? I mean, couldn't an update mean good OR bad?

Because schools are not probably rejecting people at this point, at least not yet. I'm guessing those who do not get accepted will remain on hold/waitlist until the match.

They won't start rejecting applicants who have interviewed until the match.

Also, I don't think the LMFU has anything to do with interviews, because when you log into the TMDSAS to rank your schools it asks you to only list schools that you have interviewed with. I would assume this means that the system is not updated with interviews, and that the LMFU is related to something else.

Remember that everything on here is pure speculation. No one on these boards has any solid information regarding correlation between LMFU and acceptances

Yeah, I know... but I had to jump on this exciting file update wagon. I mean, it's the most I've heard regarding my interview since they said "have a good flight."

YES, sortof, NCF145. My lmfu is 102306. I did finish interviewing earlier than that but I didn't have the thought to track any changes in my lmfu throughout the application process.
I'm glad to hear that someone else has a late october lmfu....
 
my last interview was 10/21, lmfu on 10/24. i wonder what that means? 😕
