It has barely been a week since you interviewed, I guarantee you it will change in the next week or two.
 
HAH i found it. Last MASTER file update.

My last texas interview was the 20th of October. LMFU for me was 11/10/06. Yeah I don't think it means anythign.
 
Where do you list your preferences on TMDSAS?

Also...when you do get accepted to one of the TMDSAS schools, can the other schools see that acceptance? Thanks!

Probably not, but being deluded into thinking that it does mean something will at least give us some misguided sense of control in this inhumane process...
 
Yeah my LMFU is 10/30 but all of my interviews were complete way earlier. I don't know if there is any cryptic message. I just hate all this speculation. I wish Texas schools wouldn't torture us so!

I don't know what it means, but if you notice from above the LMFU changes about ten days to two weeks after an interview.

My LMFU occured 6 days after my interview.

Interviewed on 10-20, LFMU 1026 :scared:

Well, that shoots my theory to pieces. I would be surprised if TMDSAS tips their hand so easily.
 
Although I almost had a heart attack after the TCOM email, I thought it was very nice of them to send us something to keep us updated and letting us know how we would be notified.

Think any of the other schools will be so nice?

Hate to break it to you, but my last interview was 8/18 here in Texas, and my LFMU changed 11/10... could mean absolutely nothing though...

Might mean that they decided to accept you on 11/10 to meet the November 15th quota.

My LMFU (last major f*** up? :laugh: ) was 10-04-06
my last interview was at a&m on 9/21.

it seems the consensus is that lmfu gets updated by each school as an interview is offered and then after you've interviewed. i'm guessing for those people that interviewed a month or more b/f their lmfu may have a nice acceptance letter in hand around the 15th.

oh and apparently from older threads, if you've entered preferences for the schools, then that changes the lmfu also.

i hope my guess isn't completely right since that means i might not have a letter in hand this week, but who knows

Just got an email from TCOM saying that: They would post changes to the status page and they don't anticipate filling the entire class prematch.
 
Think everyone who interviewed there got that letter from TCOM...

Or you may just be part of the 100406 crew that is getting an acceptance to Texas A&M. Texas A&M decides your fait the day after your interview. So it seems that you getting an acceptance offer so close to your interview is not a very unlikely chance. Of course, I may just be saying this to make my theory work. At least it will make me fell better for the next couple of days. Lieing to yourself is always the best psychological therapy.

Nope, I entered my preferences yesterday and my LMFU still hasn't changed from 10/30/06. It could also not have changed b/c TMDSAS is ignoring me since I am compulsively checking my LMFU every few hours.

I certainly hope you're theory is right. As far as the decision is concerned it seems most schools decide within the week (if not the next day) that you interviewed, what's to say that they didn't put us in the early acceptance part then? My only thought on this is that it seems they would make a review of their acceptance pile to bestow the early acceptance letters.

Also, did someone say Houston would post their status on the tmdsas system? for you people who had changes around 11/10 did you interview at UT Houston? If so that could mean that UT Houston has been the school causing late LMFU changes

Mine changed 11/10 and I did not interview at UT-Houston...

I only applied to UTHouston (I love TMC and my Dad lives there) and interviewed there on 9-1. LFMU is 10-16-06. I am an OOS. Coincidence?

Also, does anyone know how many applicants the schools accept each year? I know that UTSA will accept approximately 400-450 students to fill their 220 spots.
 
This doesn't have anything to do with acceptances, but on that same page as LMFU is a section called "SES." (Socioeconomic status)

I'm just curious, what exactly does the letter after SES stand for? I'm just wondering where I fall in the socioeconomic ladder 🙂

I'm not too sure about it, but I know UT Houston's early decision program requires your MCAT to be above the mean for this SES letter, mine's a C and that would have made me beat the mean of 27 (or something close to this), D was a 29, A & B groups were lower.

I can only assume that the lettering is based on a mixture of race and wealth.

There are A through D I think.

I got D and I am not and poor and never have been.
 
I think I put down the wrong number. Where is LMFU again? :embarassed: 😕
 
My LMFU was 111006 yesterday. Now it is 111306! Hopefully it means something.. like two acceptances!

Last Master File Update: 090706

Interview at UT-H on 9-1-06 as an OOS. I have not heard back yet. 🙁

WAIT sorry I forgot I withdrew from an interview on November 3rd. So I guess week turn around time for update is correct.

Mine also has the same message. Let's hope that something good comes in the mail on the 15th. My LMFU was 11/06/06. Interviewed 8/1. Meanwhile I am still anxiously waiting for more Texas schools to give me interviews after my Aug scores came out!

I interviewed at A&M on Sept 14 and my LMFU is also 100406...anyone interview at A&M and not have this date?

Mine says the same thing, but I don't think it says this for everyone.
 
My LMFU says 100406 - which many of the conspiracy theorist here would want you to think that means an A&M acceptance......the sad part is that I interviewed on 100506. So unless they knew how great of an applicant I am before they interviewd me🙂 , the 100406 doesn't mean an A&M interview. Also, I interviewed at UTSA (8/21)- so I'm praying it means something from them. Anyone have any evidence to back that one up?
