I just wanted to give a shout out to the community here at SDN.
As a nontraditional applicant this cycle, the guidance of some of the individuals on this forum (goro, gyngyn, LizzyM, I'm sure I'm forgetting people) has been instrumental.
If I had stuck with my undergraduate professors advice, I would only have had one interview versus the four I currently have.
Although not always completely realistic, a lot of the community here generally has the right idea. Med school admissions is a mysterious process! The folks here have more insight than most.
