4 weeks and counting!! I feel like it'll fly by pretty fast, since May is coming to a close soon. So how are you guys going to occupy your summer, just curious.

Is everyone on here going to check scores the second they come out... I thought I would but im getting a bit nervous and dont want to check as i once wanted to so long ago...

i have friends that do that... the exam score for a nasty exam is ready to be picked up and they put it off for a week. wth? whats the point of waiting to find out, to prep yourself psychologically?

i am gonna cover my monitor so i can view the score for each section one at a time. i took the 2002 august mcat so i know how the scores show up online. i thnk seeing all three scores at once is sensory overload. i would crap my pants. i think i will start with writing sample, then bio, then PS, then verbal. there was a thread up a while back where some one did a screenshot of the aamc score page so u can be prepared to see just how the page will look when scores come out. i am too lazy to search for it, but if u need that kind of mental preperation, u should seek it out. ok good luck and see u all here starting at 10PM tonight.. at least thats when i am gonna start my vigil.. yeah right.. i'll be here all day.

today seems to drag forever - i tried walking/jogging, yoga (hehe), basketball, cricket, pool, TV, Movie classics (Batman, Batman returns, Devdas), PS2, X Box, Cooking, Eating, Shower, and even CLEANING!!! nothing seems to work, grrr ...

It is funny because for a while I wasn't even thinking about MCAT scores but as soon as I heard what day scores were coming out that seems to be all that I can think about! I was nervous this morning when I woke up...it is nice to know there are other people out there feeling the same way about waiting for scores to appear on a website 🙂

I drove home from my in-laws, about a 2.5 hour drive, and then when I got home I had this hope in the back of my head that maybe the scores would have been released, or, more realistically, that THx would at least say what time they would come out! But when I got to my computer I didn't have the guts to go straight to THx so I came here 😛.

I'm thinking of doing the paper trick. I'd like to see my combined score before seeing all the subscores. I'm just not sure if that will work. Maybe I'll just force myself to look at them in that order, rather than using the paper. Or maybe I'll figure out how to do the paper.

Yeah...same here. It's like my conscience has gone schizo and is implanting unsettling but convincing arguments in my head. And I take back all the posts that I made complaining about how long we have to wait...I'd rather wait.

I think you both summed up my feelings exactly! I remember feeling like the exam went well when I was done with it but now I am totally like "what if I really screwed things up?" I couldn't even remember what I got on my last practice exam before the real thing so I went and looked that up. If I could get that score on the real thing I would be a happy person!

Wow so today morning I had the biggest sinus headache. I don't if it is my nerves or what, but I think I'm actually getting sick. My stomach was in knots a few days ago. Right now, my head has a pounding headache, etc.

I wish the scores would pop up right now.

Going back to the practice test, the last test I took was 8 through this prep thing at school, and guess what... the bums had the wrong answer sheet so I don't even know how I did on my last test 😡

Don't you know there are 4 times a year when this forum is flooded with nerve wrecking neuroses as the diagnosis?????

A. Right before and after April MCAT is taken
Before: Nerves going into test
After: Let the discussion begin on who had the hardest form
B. Right before and after scores come out for April MCAT
Before: Speculation and nerve wrecking neuroses over what are score are.
After: To post in the after party glory and euphoria or suggestions if you
need to retake it.
C and D same as A and B. Only substitute August MCAT where it says April MCAT.

I know the feeling. Right after you take the test, you are all nerve wrecked with euphoria of ITS OVER!!!!! All the anticipation leading up to taking the test, and you can finally go home and put your books on the shelf for a while until scores come out and you know whether you passed it or not.

When it gets back to scores coming out, 2 months later, the nerve wrecking nature of right before the test returns. Then scores come out and its euphoria for the good scores or what to do to improve the scores.
