I'll start.

Currently, I'm trying to get started on this english paper but I lack the motivation to get it done. So, right now, I'm making this thread for people to share whatever they want.

Let's make this fun😀

Currently putting off any and all school work. After getting accepted, it's really tough to keep pushing like I used to.

This week I have watched a full season of Battlestar Galactica, which proves that I can get into ANY tv show if I have enough time and episodes to watch back to back.

Congrats on your acceptance!

English.

Something I wish I always worked harder on. Your writing comes into play so much in this medical career thing...

couldnt start the paper so i decided to brush up on my o-chem by watching this guys videos...

http://www.youtube.com/user/moballer12

not to shabby...

I did very well in Ochem thanks to the dude who wrote "Ochem as a 2nd language." After you understand everything you can figure out mechanisms you've never seen before.

Edit: Watched a minute or so of that video. His lessons aren't planned well enough. He could deliver the same message in 1/3 of the time.

About to write biochem labs, then chemistry labs, then study chemistry.

Just wondering...do you dress like the images you have in your profile pic...if so, that is sharp...

just a random curiosity

Trying to not fail my last class, ever, before med school.

In school? Couldn't pull it off. When I went back I had to adjust to everyone dressing down, which took about 6 weeks.

But in the corporate world? Sure, look good when you can. Look sharp, feel sharp. 👍

I know exactly where you are coming from. its good to know that not all people have lost their sense of dressing...

"look sharp, feel sharp"...i love it.

sitting around eating apple pie... 🙂
i second organic chem as a second language. that book is awesome. got it for both orgo 1 and 2.

Procrastinating finishing this physiology lab report in every and any way possible.

Also, am I the only one who thinks that the Orgo as a second language books suck? I have both...barely used the first one last semester and it's been the same with the second one. My textbook does a way better job of explaining concepts, and the practice problems in the 2nd language books are way too easy compared to what you see on exams/quizzes. Useless IMO.

/rant (told you I was procrastinating)

began writing my paper for 10 min before i relogged on to sdn...wth i cant seem to get focused

i am just lurking around SDN, looking for trolls:ninja:

I highly suggest you take a week or two off completely from anything MCAT related, and do something 'fun' perhaps! If you're feeling burnt out at this point, imagine the week or two before your test! You might be overdoing it!

Eating a liverwurst sandwich and drinking Belgian beer. Beat that bastards

Procrastinating on studying for my Probability I test next Thursday. The first test had an median score of 38 so I really feel like I should start studying now... but sdn is more interesting.

Getting in some Clinical Psychology before bed on a Saturday night. Man do I have problems.

Can't sleep. Browsing SDN forums until I get tired. 🙁

Are you using Loudon? I love that book.

Personal statement numero tres...

med school..
teaching..

So tired of these things.

Watching bad stand-up and eating McDonald's. The fact that the drive-thru is open 24 hrs is going to be the death of me, I swear.

At any rate, took the MCAT today, passed out, and am now wired... and yet strangely I feel incapable of spelling my own name.

lol...hope u did well on the mcat

good night sdn...i have a big day tomorrow. i gots to do some mcat studying. finishing up content review for physics, go through EK 1001 questions for physics and starting gen chem content review. definitly taking verbal test 5 from 101 passages, hopefully I can chop away the extra 15 minutes it takes me to finish and continue the upward trend. good luck everyone with all your endeavors.

just finished another episode of legend of the seeker

watch this show, seriously

1) Picking my nose. j/k

2) Studying for biology, chemistry, and physics exams. Avoiding history at all costs until exams are over.

yes, yes, yes and yes! I swear by it! I gained about 40lbs. of pure fat in a year (poor diet and because I got super busy and too lazy to work out) I did p90x and lost about 30 while still eating whatever I wanted! I'm starting it up again over the summer since my diet is back under control to lose 5-10 more and then build up some muscle!
Also, don't bother buying the videos, they're all available on torrent. Zumba works as well, if you can't find the 1-2 hours a day for p90x but it's not as effective IMO

edit: atm I am "studying for orgo" on sdn
