Wow, this thread has been quiet.

Thanks everyone for the congrats on the car. I sort of can't afford it but I also can't afford not to have reliable transportation when I start med school in ten months. Especially since I am commuting an hour each way. I hope like hell I can borrow enough to pay for the 4 years I am in med school. And that the healthcare system doesn't change so much that I can't make the money to pay the loans back before I am using a walker.

Oh, yeah, I bought a Kia Soul.

Right now I'm attempting to read (and understand) Aristotle's On Memory and Reminiscence and his Nicomachean Ethics for an assignment, study for my calc II exam that is tomorrow, study for my health psych exam (also tomorrow), prep for my chem lab, and write a brief final project proposal for my Thought, Langauge, and Behavior class.

Well I'm about to go to my first medical school interview on no sleep. GOod thing I slept past noon the other day. Oh well, I couldn't sleep. Hopefully I won't get tired and yawn at all when they fire questions at me but at least I can say I'm just pre-training for the years when I'll have those overnighters at the hospital. Wish me luck 👍

Nope, mandatory attendance time coming up in a few hours. So I'm preparing to stare blankly at a wall all morning.

I hope your interview went well. Actually, I only had one hour of sleep the night before my only med school interview. I have sleep issues, anyway, and the pre-interview stress + hotel room didn't help. Fortunately, I am pretty good at functioning on little sleep.

I usually dont go to sleep till 4 am ;(. So during this time i browse, read, do homework, chat w/ friends, waste time on the facebook, watch movies, and then at the morning falling asleep at work...

Edit: and i dont know anything about cars so i cant do what u guys do

Just got off the phone with my ex boyfriend. Talked for about 45 minutes. It's great to know that he is so miserable while I am so happy. Really is a self-confidence boost!😀

(He called about 10 times. After I hung up with him, he called back. Oh, here he is again. )

As far as the questions.....no, everything was super standard. More like nice conversations. We spent most of one interview talking about food and restaurants Pretty much my dream conversation🙂

Edit: And I am really not sure how it went. I have no sense for these things. I don't think I sucked. But I don't think I wowed anyone either. We'll see. It is a tough school.

I feel your pain, there is definitely a love hate relationship with SDN...good luck in the cycle!
