That's because golf is for losers that think golf is classy. It was invented by a bunch of drunk Scots one afternoon because they were bored.

Being classy has nothing to do with why we golf.. you can keep playing basketball till you 70.....if you'd like

2 weeks ago, I played golf with a 79 year old retired dentist.. I don't see no 79 year old playing basketball, softball, soccer...whatever..

I bet you can't even hit a golf ball straight.. or even make a square contact.

BTW..golf was originally played in China..way before the drunk Scots.

More lies.

You pumped because you get to see Brad Pitt or because of the Nazi Killing? lol

That movie was the ****. 👍

My God. Seriously...Q's best movie since Jackie Brown. The entire final act was nothing less than masterful. The dude who plays the Nazi Jew Hunter was really damn good, too.

Watching it tomorrow. I watched District 9 last night. Decent, but I'm not nearly as impressed as most critics. Shows what I know.

I didn't think it was that great, either. Enjoyable. Not great. You have to take everything you read with a grain of salt. American critics are idiots.

I thought a site like Metacritic would let me sift through the bull****, but it turns out it only arranges the manure in a nice pile.

Rottentomatoes is better...they actually attempt to tier the critics as ""top critics". I think. Hell, I don't know. I read that it got a 10-minute standing ovation at Cannes and that's all I needed to know.

Man, that top critics section is useful. I hadn't noticed that before, thanks. Even if the reviews were terrible, I'd still watch it. QT is obviously messed up in the head, in the movie nut way, and I appreciate that.

I saw Food, Inc. last night. Some things were left out of the book, but that's how it is with just about every book-to-movie.

I'm disgusted with big corporations in the food industry and the government.

I'm studying for the MPJE today. I take it tomorrow. How do you stay awake?!?!!?

I've been going around saying "Bon-jurno" in an Appalachian accent all day. Hahahahaha. Q can write dialogue like I've never seen before.

Yessir, it's pretty dern good. I think the basement tavern scenes were the best. That was masterful.

"This ain't a Mexican standoff...that wasn't part of the deal!"

Yup. That...the theater...good gawd...and the opening scene with the French farmer and The Jew Hunter...really subtle...with the fear building so slowly...

Good ****...his best since Jackie Brown.

Today was my first day of Pharmacy School, so I FINALLY changed my status to Pharmacy student!! Soooo exciteedddddddddd😀

Inglourious Bastards was quite good. I really wasnt expecting it to be, because QT's last few films were not well done. I think his last great one was the Kill Bill series, and before that was Pulp Fiction. Jackie Brown was good but not as good, I think, as the formerly mentioned. The dialogue in this one kinda reminded me of Kevin Smith, but with action.

Lt. Aldo Raine: If you ever wanna eat a Sauerkraut sandwich again take your Wiener Schnitzel lickin' finger and point out on this map what I wanna know.

So I watched Inglorious Basterds again. Even better the second time.

***Spoiler warning***

This was actually Quentin Tarantino's most mature movie the more I think about it. For the first time, he began creating a movie with multiple layers. In fact, the final scene was like something Kubrick would do. The theater scene...brilliant on so many levels...on the surface, it's wonderful...we get to see the Nazis die in a spectacular fashion...a crazy plan goes off to plan...it's how we wish WWII would have ended...but dig deeper into what we are seeing...we are watching the Germans cheer the death of their mortal enemies on our screen...then the plan of the young Jewish lass and the Basterds goes into play...I was laughing and in joy at the sight of the madness going down...then I realized...Hitler was sitting there laughing joyously at the sight of Americans dying...and here I am...sitting there laughing at the sight of Nazis dying. Wait...this is Tarantino...he isn't supposed to be this smart...is he?

Kinda like when I realized that the monolith in Kubrick's 2001 was really a representation of the movie screen itself...really, we were watching ourselves on screen...we are all little Hitlers...but thanks to the black vs white world of nationalism...we just don't notice the obvious allegory we are seeing in front of us...and that's just it...it's woven in such a paradoxically overt way that somehow remains subtle...masterfully done, really...when you really think about it...it's a powerful statement about the power of human cruelty.

Damn, son...if he can keep writing like this...I wonder what Tarantino is capable of if he keeps maturing as a writer/director...

So I was going through the sticky thread about the supply/demand for pharmacists and I posted this 4.5 years ago:

pharmacy goes through a 15 year economic cycle. The shortage will end...it is just a matter of time.

I am much smarter than I thought.

Have you turned into a crazy scary cyborg girl yet?

One time I was playing basketball. And I took a shot. I watched the ball rotate in the air. Huh. Rotate. Kinda like when I rotate between cards on my Pre. Like a symphony whose conductor was instructing them to play at the beat of my heart rate. Beauty. Simplicity. Life.

WVU, you just joined a cult. Damn hippies!

It's truly a glorious machine. Better than the Iphone...that's just my opinion. I'm sure some hipster from Williamsburg NYC would disagree and tell me that I'm just a shill for the man.

I'm glad it's good, because the iphone needs some stiff competition. Seriously, AT&T is just awful, and Apple has become the antithesis of that damn 1984 commercial. It's pathetic.
