By the way kids, info from Rush:
Your application to Rush Medical College is now complete! The Committee on Admissions will begin reviewing applications in September to determine which candidates will be invited to campus for an interview. Our Recruitment Season will officially begin in October and continue with select dates through February, 2007.

The underlining is mine. I got this email 7/29 but online they have been showing me file complete since 7/25.

Timeline: 7-19 submitted to Rush, Mailed forms 7-18.
7-20 through 7-25 the website shows a bunch of goofy stuff. I start to panic a little.
7-25 I check at night and it shows that I am file complete.
7-29 they send me an email saying that I am complete (duh?)

So it takes about 10 days to process. So those of you looking to be in the first round at Rush, you have to get that secondary in in probably the next two weeks... :luck:

For NYMC---did they send you an email as well? My status page just lists everything as recieved...amcas, secondary, and lors...but doesnt actually say complete---?

I submitted my Rush application on the 14th, but it's still not complete yet. On the status page, it shows that my reference letters are not received yet, but they did receive a packet of letters from my career center, which should contain my three reference letters. So apparently they didn't open it to look inside, and I'm not sure what to do now. I emailed them about it more than a week ago, and they still havent responded. Anyone have any advice?

I just got off the phone with Albert Einstein they told me that they will not check if your supplemental, AMCAS, or LOR have been received. They will send out emails when you are complete starting sometime next week. I asked how I would know if I was incomplete then and she said, "You will find out in April." She said that after I had submitted everything to wait 2 weeks and if I still didn't receive an email to call back.

Yea... helpful :confused:

Hey people, Wake Forest updated their site.. nothing too crazy for my update tho.. it used to just say: your application is complete and is currently under review blah blah blah.. now it says:

"Your application is complete. Interviews are by invitation from September to March. If you are invited, you will receive a e-mail or phone call to schedule an interview."

anyone get anything similar/worse/better?

Anyone complete at Yale yet? I submitted it a while ago and nothing is showing up as being in yet.

I just got that they have received my secondary. Hopefully they have downloaded my LORs and when the site comes back up it will say what yours did.

yeah well, i'm kind of neurotic right now about these damn things getting completed. i feel like it took way too long for my pre-med comittee to get my LORs out (since they have had them all since may, mock interview in mid-june, you'd think they could do the comittee letter sooner) and now I am going a little crazy making sure everything is all set. I also wish Rush would flippin' update my damn status. Others as well, but mostly those two.

EDIT: And I don't know what you are talking about I still can't get into the portal...double check for me if you please

Ahh I figured it out. Wakeforest just suddenly hates mozilla for some reason. Anyhow my status is still the same stupid:

"All materials necessary to complete your secondary application have been received. Once recommendation letters are received, you will be sent an e-mail notification that your application file is complete. If your recommendation letters have already been sent to us, please allow 2-3 weeks for processing of the letters"

I don't understand how this is taking 2-3 weeks for then to download letters off VE, but its bull$hit
