Hey Everyone,

I was searching through the threads to see if one has been created for this test date yet, but I could not find it so I thought I would create it. I am waiting for finals to finish up and then going to hit practice tests for the next three months!

I finally got my student loans in and wanted to go ahead and register for the Sept 11th date only to find out all test dates in Texas are closed 🙁

Hopefully I got a 30+ or some of you guys registered for the last days drop after receiving your scores.

Yah the September seats have been filled [nearly] nationwide since early august. I think theres a seat in nova scotia though...

Today and tomorrow are going to SUCK 🙁 First day of classes for me but I will withdraw and go to the Caribbean if I flunked again...

It's not going to get released today. I don't think they've released the scores a day early once since May.

Let's not have any Caribbean talk just yet (not that there's anything wrong with that 🙂)

I hope they release the scores today....hope lol...but tomorrow I really hope its in the morning. I can't even imagine waiting until 10 pm...

Does anybody know of a good way to look at only one score at a time instead of seeing them all at once? I saw the way the MCAT scores look on the website after they are released a page back but I was wondering if anybody else is thinking about looking at the scores by section one at a time like me.

Cover the screen with computer paper and move it slowly to the right.

Long time 7/29 lurker here.

Wasn't too stressed out about everything until I realized my fate will be determined in the next 36 hours (how's that for melodramatic?).

Well good luck to everybody, I don't think I could go through this again!

Same here dude! I was pretty relaxed up until I woke up today. Now I'm all over the place. Just f**kin anxious...

*walks around room, chest sticking out, with arms under overall straps*
"Anxious you say?"
"No, I'm not Anxious"
*shuffles feet, rubs hands with anxiety"
"I laugh at you all, puny SDN mortals, I am SUPERIOR! I do not worry, let fate have its course my friends, I'll laugh at the face of fate, muhahahahaha"
*grins menacingly*

Anyways yeh guys you know what I'm thinking? I will only look at my scores once a few of you have and posted it on here lols, i don't wanna log on and see them lols. all this time of waiting has been peaceful for me and now i am aroused to anxiety, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

WOW, did you read his entire post? he did state that "not that there's anything wrong with that." It's an obvious fact that people with lower MCAT scores can still get into carribean medical schools. This poster did not say anything about their education standards. I know from this person's posts that he's taken the MCAT before, twice he voided, this time he scored. i'm sure he/she is tired of studying hard for this exam and probably doesn't want to study for it again should he/she get an MCAT score that's acceptable by a Caribbean med school.
Please, this is a post mcat thread. i tend to stay away from petty discussions on this forum. i believe people here are just waiting for their scores to be released so i hope no one turns this thread into a caribbean med school discussion. If you're going to be professionals in the future, i think it's not a bad idea to behave as one now.

The entire purpose of my post was to point out that G1GS2 stated that there's nothing wrong with going to the carribean. i'm not going to post to this thread and i hope this discussions ends here. I just don't wanna see one of those stupid threads where people go back and forth about an issue that's been discussed over and over, whether it's MD vs DO or caribbean vs. whatever or CRNAs vs anesthesiologists or whatever.

Good luck to you all as you wait for your mcat scores. Peace

You don't deserve to be accepted by any Caribbean medical school, you're too ignorant of how neck to neck their education standards are with US medical schools. That's why the big 3 schools are approved by the US in training quality physicians (Ross, SGU, AUC).
You do know the work will be just as hard, and the studying environment and training the same as US medical schools right?
Don't view it as a last resort, many fools think like that because they haven't done their research, or are talking due to hear say.

Maybe you shouldn't make assumptions and come off as ignorant yourself. You don't even know me or my situation. I'm not one of those people. I took the MCAT 4 times, voided twice, and already went through one application cycle. The Caribbean is an option for me. I'm also considering taking the MCAT again (for the 5th time) and going through another application cycle after being rejected from everywhere last year. Please don't make assumptions. I'm generally a nice person and like to give to this forum as much as I take from it, but its really upsetting when people say crap like this.

Sorry for taking out of proportion. I guess i have seen truly ignorant people say things like that, and may have taken it out on you. sorry for making it seem more than it was, i hope you can forgive me 🙂
And gl with your scores.

let's go back to the anxious wait

No biggie. Good luck to you as well!

Ahhhh one more day :scared: My friend gave me his THx login info because he doesn't want to check himself, so I have to check two scores. I feel like calling the AAMC and asking if they could just release them already!

Are you serious? wow.
tbh new semester started today at my school i havent been to classes yet, ive been enjoying my last week off, hanging out with my gf, playing videogames, looking up schools, reading blogs, so ive been so busy i havent thought about my scores!
i guess by tomorrow i wont be too nervous i hope. I think we should all have AOL messenger accounts and add each other and check scores at same time lol

I am also part of the 7/29 club. I would find it hilarious if the AAMC releases the 7/30 scores today and wait to release ours tomorrow. How many of us would go insane? :scared:

It would also be cool to know the AAMC has a sense of humor.

call them up sounding like an angry customer and demand your results. claim that because of them you've lost your wife, car, dog, and job, and if you get the scores all will be restored to you!

MCAT Scores

You have no scores yet. What would you like to do? (instructions)

Sorry for this stupid question, but would someone mind posting the URL to check scores? I thought I had it saved, but don't, and can't remember it. I just logged into the MCAT portion of the AAMC site, but can't find where to go.

Thanks in advance.

And good luck, everyone. Try to remain sane in these last few hours. Remember: You are not your MCAT score. 🙂

I'm going to change all these to Eastern Standard Time. I'm from the west coast, but I think there's more people on there from the EST, and it will be easier to cross people off if everyone is on the same time zone.
