My application was verified today but I cannot find calculated GPA. In the email I received, it says "Please allow up to an hour from the time you receive this email for your GPA data to appear in your application." I have waited more than an hour🙁
I'm having the same issue. I got a verification e mail 6 hours ago and I cannot find my GPAs on any of my applications. Hopefully they fix this soon -__-
I think what they are saying is...originally their system had it so that Food Science is not part of "Science" GPA..so it although they have reclassified Food Science to "Science" their year-by-year breakdown wasn't set up to put that course in yearly category. Think they mean they are working on including in the yearly category.
It's rounded to the hundrethsFor those who can see their GPAs, how many decimal points does it display? Is it to hundredths or thousandth?
what is the difference between cumulative science GPA and overall science GPA?
sgpa is the important one, but cgpa cant be too far behind.
They're both science...so I'm not sure what her question means. Cumulative science GPA and overall science GPA.
^ Read above.Oh i didnt even catch that. lol. Ok yea I dont know what the difference is between that. Maybe its for course retakers
They're both science...so I'm not sure what her question means. Cumulative science GPA and overall science GPA.
EDIT:
Upon looking through my verified report, I realized the difference. There is an undergraduate cumulative science GPA and an overall science GPA.
Overall science GPA includes all your GPA from graduate and undergraduate studies. Cumulative science GPA is just for undergraduate science GPA. They would match if you haven't taken any graduate science classes.
Not all people are affected by the glitch meaning that some applications are ready for the schools. what does that mean for those of use that are affected by the glitch??? I got my app in early 🙁
Guys, go and check. My GPA is there now. I couldn't see my GPA until like an hour ago and my application was verified yesterday.
You're the man, thanks for the heads up!
And yeah I don't see anything about an official MCAT score. A poster said that was postponed til late June I believe.
I have a question if one of you guys can help me because I've been trying to call the help line for the past few days and can't get through 🙁
I submitted my application last night and all my transcripts are in, however when I log onto my application and view the 'status' it still says 'awaiting materials'. When I hover my mouse over that, it says transcripts are all checked off as received, however I still have a LOR that is yet to be received. From what I've read in this thread already, you dont need to have all your LOR in before verification starts. So, if I don't need LOR, shouldn't my application be in the 'verifying' step instead of the 'awaiting materials' step? Am I doing anything wrong or is that just a lag on their part?
Secondly, just to be clear, all we need to do for MCAT scores to be sent in is to log onto McatTHX and have the scores sent to AACOMAS right? Does anybody know how long that process takes for AACOMAS to receive your official MCAT score?
Cant open the PDF's to each school.
I get this.
{"status":"500","messages":[{"message":"A system error occurred, Please contact system administrator."}]}
Does anyone else have this problem? I'm just trying to check my gpas lol
As the owner of both mac and windows, I could open PDF with windows, but not with mac. I always get the same error message ({"status":"500","messages":[{"message":"A system error occurred, Please contact system administrator."}) with mac, regardless of chrome, safari, or firefox. Perfectly fine with windows (chrome, but didn't try with other internet programs).
There seems to be some bugs when using AACOMAS using mac. I could open FAQ and Instructions with windows, but not with mac.
So try to burrow someone else's windows, or maybe library windows, and see if it works.
Well I have a windows.... thats the thing.
Oh no, sorry I couldn't help... T.T I tried, I guess it's something other than mac/windows. It's weird that it works on mine.
click on 'manage programs', then click on the 'program status' then down load a pdf of your app by click on the blue button next to one of the programs. the GPA's are listed with in the applicationdumb question: once you are verified how do you check the GPA they calculated?? =/

BTW not a dumb question. Took me a while to figure it out.
you still can't download your report???? i was having that issue 2 days ago but not anymore....This whole glitch thing is really annoying!!!{"status":"500","messages":[{"message":"A system error occurred, Please contact system administrator."}]}
^ This is my life right now while attempting to open my verified PDF file to check my GPAs.
I was verified yesterday around 11 am and it took until about an hour ago to be able to view my gpas. just an fyi for others waiting on their gpas.
was your "official" MCAT score up?I was verified yesterday around 11 am and it took until about an hour ago to be able to view my gpas. just an fyi for others waiting on their gpas.
I'm wondering the same, I sent them an email regarding why official MCAT scores are not showing up . No reply yet .Okay I have another question so are schools getting these applications now??? And if so.. are they going to see them with GPA and no MCAT score. I am so confused.
Same here.... I've emailed them twice.I'm wondering the same, I sent them an email regarding why official MCAT scores are not showing up . No reply yet .
Guys, try downloading your PDF again. You'll see that on the MCAT page, it has changed from unofficial to official. My scores remain unofficial when I checked yesterday. I checked it again tonight and it's now official.
I just got off with phone support. My final transcript is floating around somewhere in the LiaisonCAS ether. A manager was not available at the moment, but it has been escalated to tech support to track down where it actually materialized. Fingers crossed.
