**The Official Creighton University Class of 2017 Interview/Acceptance Thread**

Anyone else still getting emails? Do they do them all at once or are they sending them in any certain order?

Congrats everyone who was accepted!

Still waiting to hear back from them, I interviewed in August, but haven't heard anything 🙁
 
Received the acceptance email this morning while at work. Stoked!

Did anyone get a scholarship offer with the offer of acceptance?
 
I applied here pretty late in the cycle, and just called to see what the status was. I was told that they were done doing interviews but that acceptances would go out until about the end of January. I have not interviewed there, but she told me that some accepted dont ever get interviewed at at the first of the year I could call about an interview. Has anyone heard of this and what you do think?

So she made it seem like they could still accept non-interviewed people after Dec 3? I wonder if it is just to finish off their class at the end of the cycle if they didn't like enough of the people that got interviewed😕.

I haven't gotten one... neither have I received an interview. Maybe they're one of those schools that doesn't send out rej letters til the end of the cycle... wish they would just let me know!
 
Im not even sure what I meant 🙂 I told the admissions lady that I hadnt received an interview and asked if they were still giving them out. She said no, that interviews were were done. But that acceptances would go until about the end of Jan, that you dont necessarily have to have an interview to be accepted. She continued to say that if I wanted to, I could call at the first of the year and ask for an interview. Weird I know.

Whoa, never heard of that. Anyone know or hear of a similar thing? I know it's possible to get accepted at Creighton w/o interviewing but I've never heard of asking to be interviewed (and getting an invite!)

Then again, w/ all of their interview spots filled, I wonder what the odds are of getting accepted at this point, even if we do interview (esp OOS like I am)
 
Two of the schools I interviewed at (and received an acceptance to on December 3rd) were because I called and asked about my status.

I interviewed at Creighton in September and I was really impressed (I had to turn down my acceptance however). They DO give out acceptances without interview and it is very normal for them to do that.

ALSO, on their website, it says that interviews are by invitation in the Fall and are open to anybody that signs up in the Winter and Spring. So, I think what she meant by "you can call and request one in January" meant that you can sign up for an open interview spot because it is now considered Winter semester,

I just called and all of the seats in the class have been filled. If you interview it would be for an alternate spot.
 
Was offered a spot on the "alternate list" decided to accept that offer... Really wish I could get in here.

Me too! 👍 I imagine there's not much movement on that list, though. 🙁
 
I just received a spot on the waitlist. I am over the moon excited. I interviewed last cycle in September 2011 and did not interview again this cycle, but received the email offering me a spot on the waitlist. SO glad I took it. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Congrats! Can you please clarify if you got an acceptance or if you were just put on the alternate list?
