When did you submit your application if you don't mind me asking? I have similar stats to you so I'm hoping to hear back from them as well!

Same... Similar stats. Submitted 9/1 got an email that my app is complete and they received the fee

I was browsing the site and stumbled across this thread. I'm a D2 at HUCD. Congrats to those who have been accepted! And if you're still playing the waiting game, don't freight, I didn't interview until late February. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions about the process!

Hi, I received my acceptance back in Dec. 1st and submitted my first deposit. To all the current dental students studying at Howard, do you know when the second deposit is due? I have yet to receive any emails or updates besides a confirmation email from Howard saying they got my deposit and completing a background check. Is there anything I need to do or should I just wait?
 
Does anyone have the email address to Ms. Nixon or someone I can contact about my application? I can't seem to find it online.

Hey, I believe there is an email address listed in the email that was sent out after receiving your secondary payment.
Also, if you live in the DC area, I highly suggest you try to meet her in-person if you have something important to discuss. Everyone there is really friendly, but do not harass her my visiting her numerous times. While you are there, you can even talk to some D1s or D2s and get a feel of the school!
 
Did anyone from the VA or MD area get an interview at Howard or has been accepted yet? Any idea if the class is full yet?

I live out of state so I can't visit her lol, but I sent that email a message about 2 weeks ago and didn't get a response which is why I asked.
 
Did anyone get a hold of admissions recently? I've emailed them a few times, but no response. I called them and the number was not working.

Class is no where near full. Not even half. Last week before the acceptances were sent out on Wednesday, there was only 20/80 confirmed seats. Approximately 20 people got accepted last Wednesday, and who knows if all will accept their seats or not. Majority of them will I assume since for majority of them it was their only interview/acceptance. Hope this helps everyone. Good luck! It’s feburary, you think it’s late in the cycle but this is actually normal for Howard lol. This year they’re actually running a bit behind schedule so that’s good news for everyone who hasn’t heard anything.

My status went from "Received/Under Review" to "Received/Application Complete". What does this mean and has this happened to anyone else?
 
Will there be anyone interviewing on March 7th?
 
Ive had zero communication from this school since they took the $100 check from me. Every other school I applied to at least gave an update on my status via email.

Congrats HAMP! I submitted my application super late and paid my supplemental fee. I have a master's degree and TS and AA of 18 on the DAT. Just waiting to hear back but the wait is killing me.

I applied in October (which I would consider late) and received and interview invite two weeks ago but turned it down. I hope you hear back soon!
 
I have a 20 AA and Im waiting on hearing back too 🙁

This is a random question but how many LORs does Howard want from students? I can't seem to find a specific number on their website. Congrats to all who have been accepted hopefully this'll be me next year!
 
Hi, Does anyone have access or the link to the Class page on facebook?
 
Also, can anyone D1s give us a glimpse of what our class schedule will look like for the first year. The class time, duration, and maybe content covered in class. I am currently finishing up a post bacc graduate certificate program so I wanna see how much of the material I am currently learning will be parallel to what I'll be seeing next year.
 
Yeah, I havent heard anything either. Wondering if they even have seats and still are interviewing.
