i just had a dream that i got a 10PS, 4BS, 2VR! 🙁 i had to go on aamc and actually make sure scores weren't up and i actually checked them while i was in a tranced-sleep state last night

why would i start on SDN with a Fail Mcat name haha it's definitely family med, the ultimate dream! social determinants + clinical medicine = <3

Yeah I feel like either a lot of people are avoiding posting or not a lot of people took the July 2nd exam! Even leading up to the exam I felt this thread was very barren.

Dad's birthday on tus....don't know if I should check my score that day.... meehhh
Verbal was fine but 1 passage tripped me up on time and then I had to skim and rush on the last one :/

Well theres two ways to see this:

1. You can check it, get a good score, and celebrate with everyone!

2. You check it, get a bad score, and use cake and party fun to distract you from the pain

My Father's birthday is Tuesday as well. So, I'm gonna roll with this advice too 🙂

Whatever happens guys,
Just know that we were courageous enough to take the MCAT.
Some people decide not to apply by Senior Year because they're too afraid of studying for the MCAT and taking it.
And some even have anxiety right before the exam.
So whatever you get, just know that you accomplished something what some other people couldn't.
Best of luck to all of you!
Tomorrow's probably gonna change my life for the better or for the worse. But I'll keep trucking through no matter what.

For the past 2 nights I couldn't sleep. This test was the 3rd time taking it for me although I did not score my 2nd time sitting. I'm scared sh1tless right now. I was planning on working on secondaries today in addition to emails. Probably not going to happen... might just decide to do something unproductive and beneath intelligence ie. Dota...

Probably the most anxious day of the year today, good luck everyone! Whatever our scores may be, nothing you can do now to change it. Everyone is capable of success, numbers don't dictate our lives! Life is amazing, at least we're not dead...yet

try to stay off SDN today. stay calm and be productive. I plan to get some things done, keep my mind right, and form a plan incase this score isn't what I need. good luck to all, the wait will be over soon.

Theories aside regarding what they do for the 30+ days after we write the exam, I think it is pretty reasonable to say that AAMC is just sitting on our scores today.

I think today is the slowest day of the 30+ day wait-time since we don't receive our scores. At least tomorrow, even if the day goes slowly we get our scores.

On another note, how do you plan on looking at your scores? I am leaning between just looking at the overall score or the VR score first then looking at the rest.
