Congrats on getting in!! Was your call also at around 6 pm? Did you get the UPS notification for the letter?

Congrats!! I interviewed the same day, but didn’t hear anything. I’m assuming that’s not good news. Seriously though, that’s awesome and congratulations.
Thank you so much MollieBeth! Don't assume anything just yet and definitely email/call schools because I feel like that made a difference for me. Last round I never called or emailed. and this round I started emailing. Dental schools really want to see that you want that seat!

So I would talk about why I felt the school appealed to me and why I would be a great fit. For Charleston I talked about how it was my top choice, as its very close to home (I made it sound much better than that though, but that's basically what I said). I just wanted them to know that even though I went to school in the southwest and northeast, I am still very much tied to GA/SC area. Also, I mentioned what I was doing right now to make my application stronger. I applied last round and was rejected so I enrolled in a Post-bacc and I explained a lot of dental-related classes I am currently taking, etc. I can't stress enough how much of a difference an email or phone call can make.

Grading scale. (some are P/F but those are usuall courses for accreditation)
4.0 = 95% and thne each % drops 0.10 of GPA point (e.g. a 94% is 3.9). until you get a 75% (= 2.0) , then its 74 = 1.8, 73 = 1.6, 72 = 1.4, 71 = 1.2, 70 =1.0, <70 =0.0 (You have to repeat or remediate of you get below a 70%.
