Mine is actually the next Thursday! It's my first one, so I'm a little nervous, but more excited than anything. Good luck with your interview!!

Hi! I want to provide some optimism to anyone that currently has a post-december interview!! Keep checking the Nova portal. I initially had a post-december interview, but continued to check the portal every day and now have an interview in October. Any interview invitation is a great one, but if you have your heart set on interviewing before December then keep checking because it is possible!!

I hope more pre-dec dates open up! I just received an interview invite and had to schedule the date in Jan b/c nothing else was available before then.

I think they will! Just keep checking and you might get lucky!
 
This might be a silly question, but how do I check the portal for dates? Is it the same link as the one where we sign up for an interview date?
 
I initially had post-dec interview scheduled in January, but was able to reschedule it to an october date. If you go in to the appointment confirmation email, there should be a link where you can reschedule/cancel your appointment. Good luck!

When you go to the link it states that you have to cancel your appointment first. So if there aren't earlier dates available to switch to can you get your original date back? Don't want to end up with an even later date!

I didn't do it that way. I was scared of losing my date. I used the link they sent in the initial interview e-mail with the calendar to change my date. I saw an open date and grabbed it. Then I immediately called the number on the interview page and requested to cancel my post december date. I got two confirmation e-mails: one confirming my new date and one canceling my old one.
 
If you don't cancel your new one and you're scheduled for two dates, I think they cancel all but your original date. So make sure if you do it the way I did that you call them and explain your situation.

I believe I got there at about 1130am and left at 4pm. Lunch was included. You get to leave right after your interview and I was one of the last people out of a group of about 10, so technically you could be done a lot sooner.

It is one-on-one with one of the faculty members!
 
I missed a phone call (someone left a VM) from Nova today but supposedly it was just a confirmation call that my application has been forward to to be reviewed. Is this something everyone receives? And if so, how soon after this call did you hear back?

*I keep getting emails and calls from schools and I get a mini heart attack...but they're all just confirmations that they received my application!* >.<

Hey,

Yeah, they call to let you know that your application is complete and is sent for a review. As for when I got my interview, it was the day after I received a call stating my application was complete. They move and make decisions really quickly. You should be hearing back pretty soon.

At an interview for my state school yesterday one of the girls had it tucked away in the admissions office and wheeled it out after her handshake haha, it brought a smile to my face for sure!

so yes!
 
Hey! Is it fine if you bring a spouse or family member to tour the school with you during your interview? Obviously not actually IN the interview lol

A friend and I both had the week of February 18th and we both got pre-Dec interviews less than two days after! Don't lose hope, check several times a day!

I'm waiting for the winter storms to come... I can assume that some flights will cancel in November because of flight cancellations.
 
Hi does anyone with an interview date on October 31 want to switch for a date on October 29th?
