I got a $20,000/year scholarship..just curious is this the most or was anyone given something higher?

oh im definitely grateful alright! NYU just went from the most to least expensive school to accept me. The cost of living will still haunt me tho

Are you sure it's rejection and not wait list?
 
Congratulation to all for getting in, and those who have been wait listed, don't worry, many people decide to go to other schools, so many spaces will open up!

i got accepted in nyucd and michigan, and dont know which one to go to? any ideas?

Thanks Deuce! I'm hoping it means that I have not been rejected (cuz I'm assuming I would have already gotten a potential rej letter since I'm on the east coast)... I wonder if they've gone thru my app? I need to call them on Mon...
 
Waitlisted by snail mail last week, Interviewed nov 16. Hope this helps others that are still waiting.
 
I was in the Nov. 30th interview group and got my waitlisted letter today 🙁...congrats to those who got in. Hopefully Jan/Feb will bring better news for once.

So, you had interview on 12/3 and havnt heard anything yet right?.
I had an interview on 12/4 and same Still waiting for any great news from the school!

I'm pretty sure you'll need an interview before you get an acceptance letter...
 
hey! does anybody have an interview on December 4th, and have heard any decision from the school yet? email? snail mail?? NYU is my top choice!! and hope I can get in! 🙂

Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone knows Dr. Mejia's email address? I want to email her a thank you note for the tour she took my group on today, as well as a letter of intent. On her card is the admissions email address.. should I contact her there?

I didn't contact her, but I believe you can contact her through that email.

You could always address it there and if someone else gets it they will just forward it to her.

Hmm on my nyucd folder, her email address was something different from regular admission email address.. Something starts with ee..
Anyway, did she tell ou guys when they will make a decision by? Thanks.

She told our group that we'd be hearing a decision next week. I really hope I get in, because NYU is my dream school.:xf:

Mee too! Its my top choice! I hope i can hear from the school tomorrow, since i had an interview on Dec. 4th which is last tuesday...
 
Interviewed last week, got the acceptance email yesterday.
 
I just called the office of admission, and he said the decision will be made by 21st... so,,, I'm guessing I'm on the waitlist?! or rejction.. since I am not hearing anything by email... 🙁
 
Did anyone who interviewed from dec 3-7 hear back about NYU's decision??? Very anxious 🙁 If so, please include what day you interviewed and what day you heard back, thank you 🙁 🙁 🙁

I received an interview invite on Dec. 12. When I called to set up an interview date, I was told there were still a couple dates left in late January. So I'd assume that means that there are still lots of dates in February and March open
 
I interviewed on the 12th and got accepted on the 14th! Where's the facebook page?!
 
A little late about this post, but accepted via email on Dec 3rd 🙂

I love the school but my wallet begs to differ ...

Did you hear anything as of now? I spoke with a few people in NYU and they said you should have heard by December 14th via snail mail. I heard on the 13th..
 
Have any of you post December 3 acceptees been offered one of the 20K/year scholarships? A friend of mine is interviewing there soon and was asking me but I have no idea.

I got an invite last week, and when I called the woman on the phone told me that there were 2 dates left in January (25 & 28). But no idea what is available in February and March.
