Almost everyone was wearing business casual, not many suits

I've heard some come on Saturday in the morning for the breakfast and Q&A panel, but they have to leave before the interview part (and maybe lunch)? I'm not for sure though, I'll know after the 27th

did you get a confirmation email after filling out the RSVP? and if so, how long after did you get it?

The confirmation was after the RSVP. I don't know exactly how long, but it was about a week.

Not to worry! I just called and they haven't sent out any invitations to interview for Dentpath yet. They were hoping to start around 1:00pm and carry through the afternoon and into tomorrow if necessary. Best of luck everyone!

Thanks for the the update! Assuming since Dentpath is behind regular interviews are as well.

DentPath is a postbac program offered by OSU...if OSU thinks you’re a strong candidate but that you may benefit from an additional year of strengthening your core sciences, then instead of rejecting you they may offer you a position in the DentPath program. It’s a one year curriculum where you work on hand skills and science courses, and if you maintain a C average you are automatically accepted into OSUs dental school for the following year!
 
To all who received calls today, were any of them for the 4 year program or just Dentpath?
 
Mine was for the 4 year program. I received my call rather late in the afternoon, so it might be possible that the dentpath phone calls go out tomorrow if they ran out of time today.

One quick thing: it's actually a B average. However, it's not too difficult (so far, I guess - I've been told 2nd semester is tougher), and having a small group of people that you're with every day, working on the same goal, makes it easier. I'd definitely recommend it to someone who didn't get into a 4-year spot elsewhere. The auto admission is a really nice thing to have.
 
Received a call at noon today for the four year program. Has anyone attempted to reschedule their interview date?

OSU only holds 4 interview dates per cycle and these calls were for the 4th and final date I believe. So I don't believe there would be any other option.
 
Did anyone else’s Status change from “interview invite” to “pending additional information?” Weird.... it changed after I accepted the invite.
 
I turned down my interview invite for the Nov. 10 session yesterday. The assistant dean called and indicated they'll still be trying to fill spots for the Nov. 10 session after this weekend. So look out for a handful of invites going out yet.
 
Has anyone received details about the interview from the school for nov 10th? It said they would send it once all conformations were received....
 
if you check the buckeyelink > future student tab > application status, it says to check the college of dentistry website for status. where on that website would application status be found?
 
Does anyone know what time the admissions committee will start calling accepted candidates?
