Just signed up for Jan 23 interview at noon. Anybody else interviewing that day possibly willing to share a room the night before?

Are you a female? I booked a room 0.3 miles away from campus.
 
I got my invite to interview today. I will be declining. I interviewed last year and I absolutely love the school, great student body, awesome admin, fantastic new shiny equipment/facilities. I got into my state school and that is my top choice. Good luck to all of you! If anyone is renting a car and wants to save cash, the super 8 motel was extremely cheap and is less than a 5 minute drive. Also they have a good breakfast for the price, i was impressed. If you're staying a while there are some pretty sweet ski slopes within 20 minutes of the hotels.
 
Wow, they are interviewing around 200 more people? Sounds like they are doing way more interviews than last year.

Oh wow! They have one more interview session in January. Do you think admissions would be sending out another round of acceptances that soon?

No idea. That's really up to them. It can vary every year, esp for such a new school like roseman.
 
Anybody have some pointers on roseman interview process?

It's gotta be close to 500+ interviews, they started back in October.

They haven't made a waitlist yet because the first deposit deadline isn't until Friday at the absolute latest. I'm hoping they'll send out more invites sometime after that. I'm sure the waitlist will start once all of the seats are full. Dr Harman also said not everyone goes on the waitlist so if you're on it then they want you but don't have a spot for you yet

I had the morning interview. There were 40 in our group and 40 in the afternoon. Our large group was split into 4 smaller groups after the intro on Roseman's model. Two groups stay to do the group activity where you break into groups between 3-5 to get to know each other and afterwards will introduce one another group member. It was all pretty relaxed. The other two groups will go upstairs. One group will meet with current students to ask them questions. The other group will do the interviews. Mine consisted of two faculty and one student. The email that was sent out ahead of time prepared me well. I found the interview to be relaxed and conversational even with specific questions asked. Good luck in your interview! I'm really hoping to hear back in the next week or two.

Damn. 80!? That's insane. I'm really looking forward to it. Oh, and I eat 6-7 times a day so I should be good on the food front. Thanks for the info!

Can any current dental students speak to the curriculum? The school's philosophy and curriculum sound innovative, especially the block curriculum and summative assessment. What are your experiences, be it good or bad?
 
I'll be arriving at SLC on Feb 5th at around 9 pm, so if anyone wants to split a cab/rental car to their hotel or perhaps share a room PM me.
 
I'am interviewing 1/23 noon, arriving on 1/22 if anybody wants to get coffee or something.

I was there on January 9th and they did not say when they would be sending out the phone calls of yes or no. Every morning I check for the phone call.

Were you morning or afternoon?
I hope so too, but realistically it will probably be after February 2nd which is the last interview date (at least according to SND boards). Either way, the waiting game is not fun.
 
A good hotel is impossible this weekend! I'm interviewing in the 23rd, can't wait to meet you guys. Good luck everyone!!
 
Got the invite this morning! Woot! Scheduled for 2/20 morning group. Hopefully there are spaces still available for the upcoming interviewees!

For those of you guys that have 1/23 and 2/6 interviews, would you mind sharing your experiences/interview questions etc? Trying to see how I should prepare and yet not over prepare
 
I only booked a room for 22nd night, and 23 I have to checkout. For anyone on the same boat as me, are you bringing your suitcase to the interview?

My interview is on 2/6 and after my interview I'll let you know how it was.

For those who are interviewing this weekend, just a heads up. The Sundance Film Festival is going on in Park City and would be a good activity if you're into celebs, movies, and have some extra time to burn.
