My phone freaked out today while trying to update my software and I just got it back on (had to activate an older phone). With my luck, Roseman tried to call me today hahahaha ugh.
Oh I think you misunderstood. I was saying that since my phone was out of commission it would be my luck if Roseman called me today when my phone was broken haha. I only wish I got a call.Congrats TNF8290, hopefully they make more calls tomorrow.
I just missed a call from an 801 number. If this isn't Roseman, I'm going to be very angry at whoever from Utah is calling
I did......just gave me the generic "Salt Lake City landline." Ugh. If it's a telemarketer, what a tease.Well Dr. Harman's number is 801.878.1403 I'm sure you've already done this but just google the number that called you.
Dont know when or IF they will call.... but its been a while since last time anyone got accepted to Roseman.
it appears that Apr 5 is when some action from the schools should start (to notify applicants with multiple deposits), and they have to give 15-day notice, so that would put us around Apr 20-21 when some movements "should" occur. Just don't know how much with Roseman, although according to other threads, private schools should see more movements than state schools. I really love Roseman despite the high cost, I love the area & the people, I love to ski, but I am still on the waitlist...Well according to opnwyd, Roseman sent out emails saying people with multiple deposits had 15 days to choose a school. So that would put the deadline around 4/21. I would expect after that deadline a few more offers may go out, but it does look like it has slowed down quite a bit.

Dont wry being waitlist is still better than not hearing I think. Interviewd Jan. Are you on the waitlist as well? I'm gonna give the school until end of April until back to studying for my dat again..sigh..Well, time to start preparing for next cycle.
Hopefully they accept a lot of people from waitlist before school starts, good luck everyone.
Well, next step is PhD 😉Idk what to do, have MS in Bioengineering... how can I improve my application for next cycle?
Can you try to do more shadowing, with different dentists, as many hours as possible before the next cycle starts? so you could show that you are serious about dentistry and you really want to get in? I know some of us have been sitting on hot coals waiting to get off the waiting list (and still hoping), so we have not done anything so far to improve our application, and now the next cycle is upon us and there's almost no time to do anything substantial. Still, if you can submit in late June (even mid-July is still considered the first wave), you have almost 2.5 months to get new LORs, and additional shadowing hours. I don't know what your stats look like, but in the past, there have been applicants who got accepted the very next cycle without doing anything new, or nothing quite substantial, to their application. Good luck and Chin Up!Idk what to do, have MS in Bioengineering... how can I improve my application for next cycle?
Some people got off the waitlist but I guess they don't use SDN. Those cool people...rosemans been really quite....silent torture
The old saying about "it's not what you know, it's who you know" can definitely help you. It's obviously not a sure thing, but research dentist in your area to see which ones attended some of the schools you want to attend. Young dentist could be a good idea since they still will know much of the school staff. If you can get in really good with one or more dentist that can put in a good word for you "directly" to the school, then that at least can help get you an interview. It definitely won't hurt your chances. If you have a pre-dent advisor, get in good with them. Basically anyone that can help you and that has relationships with some schools. You still will want to do things to improve your application of course.Idk what to do, have MS in Bioengineering... how can I improve my application for next cycle?
where did you find this information "today is the deadline to pick schools?"Well, today is the deadline to pick schools from what I was told. Hopefully some calls go out this week and next. It seems to me Roseman had a lot more movement on the wait list in previous years. 🙁 My hope is wearing thin.
ADEA traffic rules: On April 5th they notify schools of ppl who have multiple acceptances, then schools such as Roseman give those applicants 15 days to decide whether or not they will be attending. 5+15 = 20, so since today is the 21st hopefully all is said and donewhere did you find this information "today is the deadline to pick schools?"
How many students are in the fb group for this class?
So close to next cycle and few spots left. Sigh...Currently the page has 83 members, with about a dozen of them or so being current dental students.
