For those who already got an interview...

Have you gotten any e-mails after the secondary application and the "payment notification" e-mail saying that your application is complete?

The very last email I got was the payment notification e-mail.

Congrats!
My application was completed on 9/10/2019 and I paid supplemental 9/22. I have a similar DAT. Do you think ill have to wait more or ill hear soon?

I dont think its just the stats... I submitted mine around 8/31. 3.4 ogpa and 3.7 sgpa with 24 AA 25TS and still havent heard from them.

If you dont mind sharing, what were your extracurriculars/predent experiences?

I’m not sure xD. That’s why I think its not just the stats. Also, asking around some dental school students, it doesnt seem like stats are everything.

Maybe its because I have community college credits for prerequisites and Im nontraditional with engineering background.

Maybe its the shadowing hour... I only have over 100+ hours.

I guess we will just have to wait until adcomm notices us...
 
has anyone taken the casper test? Kinda worried about it lol :///

I have 21 TS,19 AA 400+ shadowing hours, currently assisting in free dental practice, and currently doing research. I've got an interview from NOVA only until now from 13 schools

Just got it too!! Is that a soft rejection?
This is the email:

Your application to the four year DMD program at Temple University, Kornberg School of Dentistry is currently active and under review. The school continues to review applications throughout the admission cycle until the class has reached full capacity.
You will be promptly notified when there is a status change on your application.

I was just about to say the same thing. Does anyone have insight to whether this means anything significant?

I also got this email - I don't think it's a soft rejection.
It's more of a "be patient. we are still working on reviewing apps."

I wouldn't worry 🙂
 
What you guys said ^ I checked last year's thread and a ton of people got the same email almost exactly a year ago to the day. Probably doesn't mean anything other than exactly what the email says.
 
I received the email as well, app completed at the end of September, I pray its a good sign
 
I received that email last year 3 times. They were posted on the same date of each month as a heads up for whatever it is worth.
 
Did anyone who interview also just get an email that said thank you for interviewing? I do not think my interview performance went too well and I was just seeing if they sent this to everyone or not.

I think they send it to everyone. I interviewed a couple weeks ago and they sent me that as well.
 
There were 4 sent out last year.

Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan
and then last interviews were offered in Feb

Rejections also came out in between so receiving those emails isn't necessarily bad
 
Got that same email you guys are talking about and received an invite on Thursday so definitely don't lose hope!!

I received an email a while back saying "currently active" but didnt mention complete.
