I dont think its just the stats... I submitted mine around 8/31. 3.4 ogpa and 3.7 sgpa with 24 AA 25TS and still havent heard from them.

If you dont mind sharing, what were your extracurriculars/predent experiences?

I’m not sure xD. That’s why I think its not just the stats. Also, asking around some dental school students, it doesnt seem like stats are everything.

Maybe its because I have community college credits for prerequisites and Im nontraditional with engineering background.

Maybe its the shadowing hour... I only have over 100+ hours.

I guess we will just have to wait until adcomm notices us...

I have 21 TS,19 AA 400+ shadowing hours, currently assisting in free dental practice, and currently doing research. I've got an interview from NOVA only until now from 13 schools

Relax. They send that every year
Some people got it 4 times last year up to the final interview they offered so it just means what it says.
Your application is still being reviewed/considered

I also got this email - I don't think it's a soft rejection.
It's more of a "be patient. we are still working on reviewing apps."

What you guys said ^ I checked last year's thread and a ton of people got the same email almost exactly a year ago to the day. Probably doesn't mean anything other than exactly what the email says.

I think they send it to everyone. I interviewed a couple weeks ago and they sent me that as well.

There were 4 sent out last year.

Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan
and then last interviews were offered in Feb

Rejections also came out in between so receiving those emails isn't necessarily bad
