How are you guys getting this information? Every time I call the receptionist says she doesn't know about anything and that she can't pull my file up etc. When I request to speak to someone in admissions she tells me they currently are busy....so frustrating
 
So that means they r pretty done sending interview invites?
 
if my application status says Received/Application Complete... and i have not heard a thing from them 🙁 does this mean I was rejected

I wouldn't say so, no one is rejected until they receive a rejection email or letter. Just hang in there. Patience.
 
After 2 yrs of passively reading the posts, this is going to be my first post ever!!!
I am on the same boat, received/app complete status on Jan 12th and no news yet....
don't lose hope!
 
I hope i get accepted... I'm wearing a nice dark (non charcoal) colored suit , white shirt , black shoes, black belt (hi-YA) (humor), blue grey tie, little cologne, shaved face, and nice haircut . .. . Feb3

They are going to love me
 
woohoo Toothknock!. Congrats buddy with the interview. You believe in Touro and finally you get your chance to impress them. Hope you get in man.
 
soonest interview is 3rd week march because of spring break. on the website they say their class starts august.
i wonder if they will extend interview upto april 1st? or longer bc they accepted application very late?
just hoping for an interview. sigh...

when did you submit aadsas (paid)?
 
If anything, I think, last interviews would be conducted up until the first week of June or week before June 1st.

That is when next cycle application cycle opens.

Why would Touro want to deal with TWO cycles at once, when chances are that they MAY or MAY NOT be accredited on time.....

For those interviewing with Touro, if accepted granted, and no accreditation is provided to the school . .. . The question is whether they will rollover acceptance status ? (?)
 
When i was schedualing me interview, i asked him when the classes start, and he said all classes will be start in july
Are u sure it says August?

Yeah same luck, they are extremely rude on the phone when you try to follow up on any info sent to their email and say "we're going through it all, we got it, we'll update eventually, *click*" no recording of your call, who you are, or anything. Bottom line don't call the office, it's useless.
 
They were nice on the phone with me. At this point all we can do is wait with patience. The more time they lose taking calls, the less time they have to review the applications. They are working hard, they were sending emails last night as late as 9:30 PM (eastern). If everyone calls to find out where in the process they are, they are not going to get much done. Just assume that mostly everyone who has not gotten any acceptances or is unhappy with where they got accepted is applying.

Hey everyone.Can someone answer me? My application status changed last night from under review to application complete even though my application was not sent out officially by aadsas and gpa is not calculated yet. Should I begin to worry that I didn't get an interview invite yet. My gpa is around 3.4 and dat is ts20 aa19 pat 19

Full ride? Wow that's legendary. I'm assuming u have phenomenal stats for them to offer you a full ride. Congrats. If Touro is offering full rides this prob means they r trying to stack their class with the most competitive applicants. Maybe this is a power move to accelerate accreditation and to ensure the first few accepted classes demolish the boards. Oh and prob to make sure they have a low attrition rate. Who knows just a thought

GPA: 3.6 science/3.8 BCP/3.7 overall
DAT: 28 AA/30 TS/23 PAT/28 RC

My extracurriculars are strong as well.

I never sent my application, they actually reached out to me. I'm not the only student that's received this offer according to the people I spoke with. They also said those offered could bypass the interview process contingent on having acceptances at other schools.

Full ride is a sweet deal. If anyone deserves it, it is you.
 
They also gave him a fully loaded hummer like lebron.
 
I would have taken the full ride. That's zero loans /debt after dental school. That sort of financial freedom is amazing

SDN first, then I spoke to them over the phone. There were quite a few contingencies with the offer (that my criminal background check would be clean, that my GPA and DAT verified, to skip the interview verification of at least 3 other acceptances, etc.).

I'm not joking. I'm not sure why Touro enticing potential students to its inaugural class with scholarship offers is so upsetting, or surprising for that matter.

I apologize to you for my comment. I take it back. One thing i need you to know i am not mad of anything. I just don't like scam people. The reasons for me to made that comment because.
First -I didn't know about that website.
Second- there are scams in SDN
Third -I just wonder what happen in 7 years because you just got accepted this year.

I don't know which are the 3 schools you were mention, but i knew that you went to interviewed at columbia dental school.
