Interviewing next week! Can anyone tell me anything about the interview? Id really appreciate it as I havent gotten in anywhere and this is my last chance.

My best advice is if the dental students there tell you not to worry, then don’t worry! Just relax and be yourself!
 
I have an interview this week and I heard those who got an interview at Tufts usually have a higher chance to get accepted since the school sends the interview invitations less than 10 percent of applicants. Is that true? Also, in the invitation email, it's stating that there could be some challenge questions that may be asked. How challenge are they? Because all of the people I asked about the interview said it was a very laid back and comfortable vibe.

I think that can be a possibility to why their acceptance rate after the interview is high, but Im not quite sure. I also know a lot of people on SDN posted "possible interview questions" to be asked and I think just practicing those would help a lot. Make sure to be honest with your answers and be yourself! I dont remember if there was any specific question that stood out as super challenging, but knowing your application well would help a lot!

What do you mean with the video? I got an invite to interview too but no video? Unless you’re talking an acceptance?! If so, congrats!!
 
I submitted my application back in early July, but my status still says received/application complete. Should I be concerned that it has yet to switch to under review?

I actually haven’t yet, but once I have the money I’ll be putting my deposit down. I’ve only done the background check

I applied late June and my app switched to under review on the portal a couple months ago... I've had radio silence. As far as i'm concerned, we are in the same boat.

Oh okay same. I feel like I should respond to the email or something but idk lol. I basically feel like I won’t get a scholarship if I don’t do any of those things states in the email lol

Interviewed at Tufts this past week... my interview was different. I only got interviewed by a 4th year dental student and it wasn’t super conversational it was more like he talked a majority of the time and was just giving me a bunch of advice?? Anyone else have this same experience or just not the usual conversational interview and still get accepted? I’m nervous because my interview didn’t go bad but good.... and i only had a 4th year student so I’m super nervous cause everyone else walked out having such conversational and relaxed interviews.... anyone get accepted with a unsure interview here before?

I had an interview with a 4th year only and I got in! I think as long as you didn't bomb the interview you have an 80% chance of getting in. My interview was super casual too so don't worry too much.

Mine was so different.... it was just so weird... ugh it’s stressing me out cause i really wanna go there
 
For those who interviewed last week, did you get the letter? I'm so nervous.......
 
If you interviewed this week (I interviewed 12/11), Dr. Kasberg said they'll be making decisions today (Friday) and will be emailing us those decisions next week (most likely Monday).
