Ucla isn't listed at all under my school decisions tab on AADSAS :(

I emailed the PHF email and then I realized it was different to send to her about status updates. I'm a mess lol

I think they may just be a little backed up with the new class coming in and such. I'd give them a week, then email again. UCLA didn't show up on my portal at all either until they confirmed my secondary. Don't freak out :)

Oh how long did that take? I didn't know they confirm the secondary! I sent it on the 10th


UPDATE: no email reply but its on my portal now !

My app got mailed out 7/29 and I didn't get the secondary until today. Super slow
 
hey guys...so if AADSAS says "Received/Application Complete" but I never got an email confirming that my secondary was received, am I still ok?

I think you are okay. I submitted my secondary application back in August and did not receive an email confirming its receipt. I then waited for my AADSAS portal to be updated and nothing happened, I emailed admissions about a week ago and asked if it was recieved. The next day my AADSAS portal was updated to "Received/Application Complete." So I think since your AADSAS portal is updated you should be good. Buuuuuuuut I am not 100% sure.

To all of the people who sent in the secondary and paid the fee, can you please go on AADSAS and check if the status says anything other than "Received/Application Complete"? I want to know if they end up ever changing it to "Received/Under Review" like some of the other schools.

I received an interview invite yesterday! :) I had the option of October 11th or 14th but I will be in California in November (I'm OOS) so I scheduled one of those interview dates.
I wish you all the best of luck! I'm sure some of you will be receiving some good news soon. :clap:

When was your application complete? And did your AADSAS status ever change to "Under Review" or did it stay "Received/Complete"?

I'm so sorry I haven't gotten much sleep and missed the rest of your question. It said "Received/Complete" I can't recall if it ever said "Under Review" because I wasn't really watching the status' that closely. But, it did just change to "Invited for Interview". Hope that helps!!

I sent in my secondary on 09/05.
I received an invite via email.

sGPA: 4.33, oGPA: 4.3
AA: 22, TS: 23

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if anybody participated in one of the volunteer opportunities in UCLA (dental clinic or volunteer research) and if yes did it have a positive effect on getting an interview/ admission from this school? I 'm wondering if it is worth doing that?

Sent my secondary on 10/1. UCLA appeared on my AADSAS today as Received/Application Complete.
 
Does anyone know when the earliest interview date available is for the school? And also if there is any word on when the next batch of interview invitations will be sent out?

I believe the first interview of this cycle went out on 10/3/16 and second on 10/7/16.

That I don't know. I would assume they are. There were a few more pages of interview dates over the next 1-2 months but I did not check the dates.
 
Has UCLA been sending out interview invites? It seems quiet within the SDN community.

Mail out date was 7/1, and still haven't heard anything after I submitted my supplemental application. Has anyone tried contacting the school to ask about the app? Thanks.

Hey everyone! I've got an interview at UCLA in a couple of days and just wanted to ask those who have already interviewed there how it went? Was it stressful? The email says there will be a "review of transcripts"... what exactly does that entail?

Don't stress! Review of transcripts is just to see if you've gotten all your degrees and if all pre-reqs are complete or in-progress.

Noemi calls you in for about 2 minutes and tells you if you're missing something or if your'e good to go.

Interview is fairly casual. The interviewees I've done spoken to during the lunch panel have been getting 2 faculty/staff per interview. One talks and one observes. If you've done specialist shadowing, they will most likely ask you to elaborate on your experiences and what struck your interest.

UCLA likes to mention the "15 exams in 5 days" issue during the interview, but take a deep breath and confidently say hell yeah! Everyone gets through it and you will too.

In state. Career changer post-bacc with BA in Economics, 3.45 undergrad gpa. 4.0+ postbacc gpa. Gpa averaged to 3.6 and studied my butt off for an AA 27.

You got your pre-December interview with them, congrats! If you don't mind, could you let us know when UCLA showed up on your AADSAS as "Received/App Complete"?
